Sonmina is the het ship between Sonic and Mina from the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

Mina makes her debut in issue 76, where Sonic and Sally save her and other Mobians from Shadowbots. After the hedgehog burns some more robots, he sees Mina running to Robotnik's headquarters, then immediately stops her. The mongoose sobs over her mother's roboticization. Sonic understands her pain, something he also experienced with her uncle and pet. When Sally and Snively arrive, Sonic tells them that the mongoose was a survivor.
In the next issue, everyone makes their way back to Knothole Forest by way of the desert. When Nicole senses a Shadowbot fleet coming from the west, Sally and the survivors make a run for it. Instead of fleeing, Sonic stands up to face the egg-shaped vessels. As they close in on Sonic and Sally, Dulcy destroys them and immediately gives them a ride to the forest. Mina and the other survivors are assured of their safety after they got down an oak slide to the village. Mina was present when Sonic was knighted by King Acorn in the following issue.
In issue 91, Mina and Rotor witness Sonic bury some meteorites. They part with the hedgehog when he affirms to bring back the Sword of Acorns from "the Eggman".
Mina later has a crush on Sonic. Having thought of being Freedom Fighter material, she kissed him as a sign of thanks, in front of Sally in disguise.
When Sonic and Sally share a kiss in front of the mongoose, Mina is heartbroken. Mina saves Sally from a bullet shot by Nack, confessing her love to the hedgehog. She later recovers and joins the front lines battling the Xorda.
Mina still had feelings for Sonic for some time even after having a new boyfriend.
In issue 185, Mina hugged Sonic as she got down the plane, and drags him to her boyfriend who is following behind. Sonic then gives the mongoose a tour of New Mobotropolis. That night, she, along with Tails and Mighty, were under Mammoth Mogul's control and turned against Sonic into joining them. They were freed in the next issue, at the cost of their captor and four others escaping the prison.

Although Sonmina is not as popular as Sonally, it has some support. There are fans who feel like Sonic and Mina together was a relationship done right, that Mina was a better love interest for Sonic than Sally, and Sonic than Ash. A DeviantArt fanclub for this pairing as set up in late 2010.
Other rival ships include Tailina and Manina, the former from a canonical future and the latter by process of elimination.
