SpamQueen is the het ship between Spamton and Queen from the Deltarune fandom.

Canon

Spamton started his existence as an ignorable salesman with dreams of becoming a "big shot" and moving up in Queen's Cyber World. As he received a deal from an anonymous caller, people suddenly became interested in his products and he became an overnight sensation. Though the Addisons were jealous and stopped spending time with him, Spamton didn't mind as his success had Queen herself approach him with the offer of renting a luxurious room in her mansion. But just as it seemed that he had provided a stable future for himself, the caller stopped responding and Spamton's sales plummeted. Desperate to regain that stability, Spamton spend the rest of his time in Queen's mansion sneaking into her basement, having found a powerful robot body with a crystal embedded in it, praying to it for success and becoming obsessed with it. However, Spamton could never reach it before Queen evicted him from her mansion. When one of the Addisons tried to check on him at the day of his eviction, they found his phone hanging with another person's voice coming from the speaker (but becoming less intelligible up close), suggesting that Spamton received some terrible news and decided to flee Queen's mansion on his own.

In the present, Spamton has hit rock bottom, "living" in a garbage dump whilst reminiscing about the life he had lived before. Queen notably seemed to have tried to cover up all evidence of them working together, as one of the posters of her shilling one of her products peels away to reveal Spamton's face during the peak of his career underneath. Further evidence for this is that Queen's quote on the poster has her admitting that she doesn't even know what the product she's holding is, suggesting that she only hung them up to cover Spamton's posters. Talking to Queen's head butler Swatch reveals that someone tried to impersonate Swatch to sneak into the mansion, all evidence points to Spamton being the impersonator. Similarly, the rebel trio Sweet Cap'n Cakes recounts that a "little weird guy" tried to pay them to break into Queen's mansion for him.

The "little weird guy" is seemingly confirmed as Spamton when he gives Kris a similar task of sneaking into the mansion to retrieve the EmptyDisk from the basement. On a normal route, Spamton is only indirectly a threat to Queen's mansion as he only cares about having the LoadedDisk with his consciousness transferred to the NEO body. However, if the player fulfills all the requirements for a "Weird Route", Spamton takes advantage of Kris and Noelle having frozen most of the enemies in the area to invade Queen's mansion unhindered. To stop the heroes from foiling his plans, he spreads a unique type of virus called "pipis" in Queen's mansion to make traversing it more difficult. He finally usurps Queen as the final boss of the route, however, Queen is shown to be completely oblivious to Spamton's plan.

SpamQueen is a rarepair for both characters, not making it to the Top 10 of Spamton's ships on AO3. However, it is the fifth most-popular ship for Queen, though the platonic tag has more fics than the romantic tag. Since Spamton was close to Queen, yet shows little interest in her specifically, many fans wonder what the exact nature of their relationship was. Similarly, since Queen's opinion on Spamton is not clarified, many fans have her react in a wide variety of ways to Spamton trying to take control of her regime, some have her react with strong emotions, others have her completely unaware of or indifferent to it. When shipping it romantically, it is often portrayed as a one-sided crush on Spamton's side.
