Spamvil is the slash ship between Spamton and Jevil from the Deltarune fandom.

Canon

Jevil and Spamton both share the status as secret bosses which are loosely connected to the story of the chapter they debut in. In both cases, they start out as unassuming nobodies in their respective societies, but ones who at least had some positive relationships. Both were approached by a mysterious stranger, who had shared forbidden knowledge with them, though while Jevil started to believe that his world isn't real, Spamton used the knowledge to increase his profits as a salesman. until his benefactor stopped responding to him. Thus at the start of their respective chapters, they live in isolation, Jevil was imprisoned for attacking Seam, Spamton became homeless after his sales hit rock bottom. In both cases, they act very jovial and laugh a lot, but as a result of losing their sanity because of their experiences.

What differentiates them is that Jevil is so insane that he believes that he is free inside of his cage and everyone else is imprisoned, while Spamton longs for the freedom he had as a salesman, thus is aware that he isn't free. In their battles, the shared theme of freedom is referenced as both share the flavor text of "the air crackles with freedom". Both are associated with the Shadow Crystals, seemingly sheets of glass in the Light World that expose the reality in the Dark World, though while Jevil received his Shadow Crystal from his mysterious ally, the Shadow Crystal Spamton gives to the heroes is inside the NEO robot he had desperately tried to plug himself into. After being defeated by the heroes, both turn into unique armor pieces, which differ depending if the party had defeated them violently or not. Both are currently the only characters in the game who speak in coherent sentences while everyone else is only "voice grunting". However, since they continuously repeat the same phrases when audibly talking, it is most likely hinting at their insanity.

While the two are not seen interacting with each other in the game, it is implied that they know each other. When talking to Spamton in his store, he mentions wanting to surpass "that damned clown around town". During his fight as Spamton NEO, he will respond to the mention of a clown by panicking and claiming that he feels sick. Furthermore, when backtracking after reaching Queen's Mansion, a Werewire will tell a story of some "ex-famous guy" vetoing a public petition for a merry-go-round due to his caulrophobia, the "ex-famous guy" in question is most likely meant to be Spamton.

Fanon

The ship became popular in the Deltarune fandom because they are both secret bosses with strong personalities and they have an interesting dynamic. Despite not being problematic at all the ship gets hate mostly because it interferes with other popular ships like Seavil and Swatchton.

Many fans of the ship believe the theory that the "strange someone" of Jevil's backstory and the person on the other end of the phone from Spamton's backstory are the same individual and none other than Gaster from Undertale, who had become a staple of theories surrounding the game's backstory. What helps is that many hints are dropped in their backstories, such as Seam using the term "yet darker" when describing Jevil's thoughts and "garbage noise" being used to describe both the "mus_smile" sound directly linked to Gaster (which can be heard when Kris makes a phone call while in a Dark World) and what the Addison used to describe the sound Spamton's phone emitted when inspecting it closer. Oftentimes, Jevil and Spamton are depicted as Gaster's underlings, having somehow "adopted" them after their defeat.

The idea that they can still communicate as items in Kris' pocket also has some popularity, based on Tasque Manager reacting to Jevil's catchphrase of "Chaos, Chaos" when one of the party members has either the Jevilstail or Devilsknife equipped while fighting her. Oftentimes, they're depicted as arguing with oneanother in Kris' pocket, much to their annoyance.
