Tropes	• Enemies To Lovers — Sparkle mocks and teases Sunday, never once taking his threats seriously. He despises her; Sunday yell to stop. Varying from heavily conflicting ideals and views to even which Aeon they follow. When they first met, Sunday tells her off. • Hair Contrast Duo — Sunday has a grayish cold-toned color to his hair, whilst Sparkle has a warmer-toned dark brown shade. • Conflicting Loyalty — Sunday and Sparkle follow two vastly contrasting paths, with The Order and The Elation respectively. Sunday is also majorly focused on his 'ideal paradise', as well as his loyalty to The Order along with his adopted father, Gopher Wood. Sparkle is a Masked Fool who follows no rules, never once caring exactly who the other person might be. • Inconvenient Attraction — Once again, two separate paths. Sunday has an unwavering dedication to The Order and his own goals. A person based on his own morals and status, he doesn't let anything stop him. Sparkle, as a Masked Fool, is infamously renowned within the faction as 'A dangerous maestro of theatrics'. • Lonely Together — In Black Swan's voiceline about Sparkle, she mentions that Sparkle wants to be noticed by others. In each of her character stories, one common theme among them is that overarching feeling of loneliness. We currently don't know if who we play as is even "her" at all, as she takes up various 'acts' as shown in her Myriad Trailer and Monodrama. Robin states that Sunday never really confided in her], always keeping his own problems strictly to himself. Gallagher's voiceline about him tells us how he has a 'facade', this is later confirmed through his false loyalty to The Harmony, something even his sister did not know about. • Opposites Attract — Once again, a follower of The Order and a follower of The Elation. The Order and The Elation are the two ends of a spectrum, with 'Strict and controlling' to 'Free and Chaotic' respectively. Sunday is also someone who heavily relied on his status, using his position as the Oak Family Head to easily go through with his plans. Sparkle is described as not caring about status, wealth, or power. She also states herself that She doesn't have many dreams/goals. Sparkle is also depicted as a devilish figure, supported by her stickers, along with characters mentioning her describing her as dangerous and cunning. Regarding their color palettes, it's also heavily contrasting. Sunday carries himself with muted colors, various shades of dull blue, gray, and white being some of the only colors added, save for the pops of colors like the blue fabric from his coat. Sparkle, in contrast, is very vibrant and colorful. White in color psychology represents purity, innocence, virginity and integrity. It is also more of a 'shade' than a color, being the creation of the entire spectrum of light together. Meanwhile, red represents passion, sexuality, and danger. Red on the RGB spectrum is also unable to be reproduced by other colors. Sunday is modest and fully-covered, while Sparkle isn't afraid to show skin. And yet, they're not so different, as both have their own 'acts' they put on. Sunday with his public and private persona, and Sparkle with her endless acting. Although they are complete contrasts, it ends up looping back around to similarities. Sunday was able to recognize Sparkle instantly, despite her being a master at acting as others. This also carries over vice versa, with Sparkle seeing through his plans. Once again, they hide their 'true' selves. Black Swan's voiceline tells us that despite Sparkle saying she enjoys being a 'side character', she still yearns to be noticed, but will never admit it. Sunday, likewise, has been shown to be rather emotional, evidenced by the trailer linked, as well as the Concert for Two lightcone's description, and his 'nickname' as a child being Trustful boy. We know from Robin that Sunday was taught different teachings growing up, so it's safe to assume that Gopher Wood had Sunday close his heart. Despite being complete opposites, it seems they will be the only ones who understand each other most. • Tsundere — Sunday being unable to admit how he truly feels. • Star Crossed Lovers • Foe Yay — What's the rush, Chicken-Wing boy? Did I get to you?" Sparkle can be seen complimenting him on screen, whether sarcastic or not, it is undeniable she makes "suggestive" (used very loosely) remarks towards him.

Sparkday is the het ship between Sparkle and Sunday from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.

Canon

Their first interaction was back in 2.0, as well with it being their first presumed meeting. Sparkle disguises as Robin, Sunday's sister. He immediately sees through her disguise after indulging in her playtime a bit, and Sparkle offers him that she'll play the role of 'Robin' as a stand-in. He rejects this.

Following 2.1, during Double Indemnity, Ratio mentions that The Family is still streaming the rehearsal of Robin's ceremony. It is later referenced again during Heaven is a Place on Earth, where Aventurine asks Sparkle if she was the stand-in for the public, to which she doesn't give an answer to.

In 2.2, we play as 'Sparkle' pretending to be 'Robin', cleaning up the mess Aventurine left. This pretty much confirms that Sparkle was indeed acting as Robin. During The Only Path to Tomorrow, Sunday and Robin meet Sparkle disguised as 'Robin'. Here, Sparkle teases Sunday, speaking about how she 'knows what he's planning' and giving Robin questions to mull over. Sunday yells at her to stop, and they leave. Here it is also mentioned that the Head of the Iris Family, Maeven Ellis, requested her to act as Robin. Whether for the entire time or just to clean up is unspecified, although.

In Sparkle's trailer Monodrama, the audience can see she is fighting against The Past, Present, and Eternal Show, enemies introduced during 2.2 during the final boss fight against Sunday.

The Lightcone featuring Sparkle It's Showtime is set in the Grand Penacony Theater, where once again, the final fight against Sunday took place. Both of these items came out during 2.0, whilst the fight was during 2.2.

Sparkle calls Sunday 'Chicken-wing boy' during all the encounters she's had with him.
