Spemmer is the slash ship between Spock and Hemmer from the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds fandom.

Children of the Comet[]
While Hemmer is preparing some food, Uhura comes up to him and asks if he wants help. Hemmer says no, and Spock interjects that she's offended him. Uhura didn't mean to and says that she was raised to offer help to anyone with an impairment. Hemmer says a human who is blind may consider themselves impaired, with Spock interjecting that Hemmer's other senses compensate. Uhura brings up pre-cognative ability's of Aenar, and Hemmer knew she was going to ask since someone always does. Spock throws a carrot from behind Hemmer, who catches it easily. Hemmer says that Spock communicated this telepathically and Spock says that he did so to illustrate. Hemmer gives a small chuckle, as Uhura realizes that they're hazing her. She tells them that they need to get out more in Andorian and goes to get a drink. Hemmer says that he likes her and Spock does as well.
All Those Who Wander[]
Spock is analyzing the gorn samples and points to the ducts that most likely expel venom. Hemmer comes into sick bay and confirms this. Also that it burns. Spock says it's meant to blind and Hemmer says that he wasn't the best target. Pike asks if Hemmer can uses his telepathy on the gorn but Hemmer says that they're resistant. Spock finds this impressive.
As Spock and Hemmer set up the plan, Spock tells him that engineering will become and oasis for the gorn. He asks if Hemmer is okay with what he needs to do, and Hemmer says that if they succeed they will both be trapped with the gorn. Hemmer won't be the one to kill it, but will do what he must to protect the lives of the crew.

- Hemmer finishes Spock assessment of what will happen to the ship for him.
- Spock gives a small smile when it turns out that Uhura and Hemmer are alive.

- Hemmer agrees with Spock's plan.
All Those Who Wander
- Hemmer asks if Spock can work on restarting bridge functions and Spock says he'll attempt to make quick work of it.
- Hemmer tells Pike that the other gorn is boxing Spock in.
- Hemmer gives Spock the Vulcan Salute and calls him his friends as he makes his way to sacrifice himself.
- Spock leaves Hemmer's funeral in anger.

Hemmer and Spock are probably one of the smallest pairings to come out of Strange New Worlds. On AO3, its the third most written ship for Hemmer, and for gen it's the second. There is currently one written work.
