Sprout x Tapes is the cargo ship between Sprout and tapes from the Dandy's World fandom.

Sprout is a Toon from Dandy's World. He can be bought from Dandy's Store in the Lobby with the right requirements at all times.
Tapes are a currency while doing runs in the game and can be obtained through various means. This includes doing machines, encountering Twisteds, using items, and performing a Toon's active ability. During runs, Tapes spawn throughout floors, and they increase in amount the higher the floor is.
Another way to obtain Tapes is by equipping certain Trinkets that gives a player a certain amount of Tapes at the start of every run. This includes Fancy Purse and and Coin Purse. Coin Purse grants 30 Tapes and can only be gained by purchasing it from Dandy's Shop in the Lobby. On the other hand, Fancy Purse grants 100 Tapes and can only be gained by completing 100% Research on Twisted Teagan. Equipping the two at once will grant the player 130 Tapes.
Sprout is a male non-event Main Character resembling a strawberry. He possesses an active ability that allows him to grant an injured Toon a heart. This ability costs 100 Tapes per use, and has a 100 second cooldown. However, for each extra Sprout there is in the run, the cost increases by 50 Tapes. Additionally, the cooldown will also increase by 30.

Sprout x Tapes is a well-known ship in the Dandy's World fandom. Because of Sprout's need for Tapes in order to perform his active ability, the ship was created.
In fan content surrounding Sprout and Tapes, he is pictured to be extremely watchful of who picks up Tapes. When someone does pick up Tapes, Sprout becomes angry, even if that player only picked up one. Additionally, Sprout is also sometimes depicted to be completely obsessed with Tapes, haording them and grabbing them from other Toons to the point everyone else but Sprout is deprived of them. This is especially comedic since some Toons like Teagan and Blot require Tapes in order to perform their own active abilities.
This ship is often shipped alongside Rodger x Research. On the other hand, its main and only rivals are Dandy x Tapes, Teagan x Tapes, and Blot x Tapes. However, all four ships are sometimes merged into one, resulting in the ship Dandy x Sprout x Teagan x Blot x Tapes. However, some may prefer to just ship only the playable Toons and exclude Dandy, creating the ships Sprout x Teagan x Tapes and Sprout x Teagan x Blot x Tapes.
