Spumone is the femslash ship between Emerald Sustrai and Neopolitan from the RWBY fandom.
Canon[]
The two were seen together in volume 3 when they participated together in the Vytal Festival as part of Cinder's team. Later the two were seen using their semblances on two first aid workers as they both boarded an aircraft together. In volume 8, chapter 5, when Emerald is shown telling Cinder she wants to help in getting the maiden powers Neopolitan is shown rolling her eyes in the background. Ultimately the two both decide to work together and accompany Cinder. Once they escape the arena, Emerald orders Neo to get all of them out once they are in the Manta, Neo is shown to be extremely irritated by this.
In the next episode, Emerald and Neopolitan are shown kneeling next to each other and are both shown creeped out when the hound sniffs both of them. The two are then both made Cinder's subordinates by Salem. When Cinder is then tortured by Salem, Neo and Emerald look on in shocked horror. Later in chapter 8 after Emerald is done talking to the lamp, Neo is then seen afterwrds trying to take it for herself. In Rwby Chibi season 1, the two are seen together trying to hide Cinder's ray gun in her closet. In another episode the two are seen fighting together against Batman Jaune.
Despite little interaction between the two, Emerald and Neopolitan do have some similarities. Firstly, the two were both recruited by Cinder and willingly joined her. Secondly, the two both became Cinder's subordinates. Thirdly, the two are both the only female characters in Rwby that currently wear outfits that expose their navels. Lastly, the two both have illusion/hallucination based semblances.

Spumone is a rarepair in the rwby fandom. Fans who do ship the two like their sassy, no-nonsense attitudes. They also like the fact that two have a connection to each other through Cinder. Some fans even like to imagine what a fight between the two would be like since the two both have illusion based semblances. It has a small fanbase on Tumblr.
