Tropes	Beta Couple - Stacetrane serves as the beta couple to Canderemy. This leads to them having less screen time or development in the overall series, with only a couple of episodes focusing on the ship. Cardiovascular Love - The first Stacetrane moment was Stacy and Coltrane being surrounded by floating hearts, while dancing to "Do Nothing Day". Ensemble Dark Horse - Despite only having like one episode that focuses on them as a couple, Stacetrane is an incredibly popular ship in the fandom. Foil - Stacetrane, being as stable and problem-free relationship serves as the foil to Candace's jagged and sporadic alpha couple, Canderemy. However, the lack of conflict in the relationship could also be due to their lack of screentime. Hands On Approach - Coltrane taught Stacy how to play the bass by putting his hand against hers, Tarzan-style and would use the hands-on approach to walk her through learning the instrument. Holding Hands - Stacy and Coltrane did this at the end of "The Baljeatles", which signified the beginning of their relationship. Love at First Sight - Stacy seemed to fall smitten with Coltrane just by looking at him and deciding he was "cute". Ship Tease - The brief shot of Stacy and Coltrane dancing together in "The Best Lazy Day Ever" was meant to evoke Stacetrane shipping support from the fans. Worked like a charm. Token Minority Couple - Coltane and Stacy being a Black-and-Asian couple makes them one of the only canonical interracial or even non-white couples in the series, besides Gingeet.

THE BEST LAZY DAY EVER

Stacy and Coltrane stood next to each other, kind of dancing when Jeremy and the Incidentals were singing "All Do Nothing Day". They gazed lovingly into each others' eyes as some little hearts were floating around them.

THE BALJEATLES

Stacy saw Coltrane and thought he was pretty cute, even though she had never actually talked to him before. Even when she danced with him on stage in "The Best Lazy Day Ever", they didn't actually have a conversation. This time, she introduced herself to him and they quickly hit it off. Stacy told Coltrane she liked his hair and he Coltrane told Stacy he liked her bow. Coltrane showed Stacy around the stage, exhibiting all of his musical stuff. Jeremy took a liking to Coltrane and Stacy's togetherness. Coltrane played bass for Stacy and Stacy asked Coltrane if he could teach her how to play bass. Coltrane asked if she had "big bass player hands" and they put their hands up to each other for measurement. Stacy's hands were a little smaller than Coltrane's but they were still fit for bass playing. Candace made annoying bird calls from the bushes to get Stacy's attention. Stacy went off and Coltrane told her that he'd save her a dance. When Stacy told Candace that Coltrane would save her a dance, Candace treated it like it was some kind of cryptic message. When Baljeet and The Baljeatles came up on stage to rock out to "Give Me a Grade", Stacy and Coltrane danced together in the moshpit. Stacy and Coltrane would eventually start holding hands that night, signifying the official beginning to their relationship.

CANDACE GETS BUSTED

Coltrane called up Stacy and told her that his band's gig got cancelled and they were in need of a new place to play. Stacy invited Coltrane and Jeremy's band over to Candace's house with her, without really asking for Candace's permission. When Coltrane played the song, "Breath", with his band Stacy danced to them in the little moshpit they created.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Stacy and Coltrane danced together at the New Year's dance party. For their attire, Coltrane was wearing a typical tuxedo and bow tie and Stacy was wearing a purple dress and matching bow that resembled her casual bow, proving that she remembered how Coltrane told her that he liked her bow in "The Baljeatles".

MANDACE

Coltrane brought up that he had a girlfriend named Stacy, who was the most beautiful girl in the world. Candace cut him off, as she was completely uninterested in anything that wasn't about herself.

Fanon

Stacy and Coltrane is a very common ship in the community, despite their lack of screentime. Coltrane is the only canonical love interest of Stacy, (besides Chad from "The Secret of Success") and he proved to be a really good partner for her. Coltrane's passion for music was a nice talking point for him and Stacy and fans think it would have been excellent to see Stacy get into the music game, with the help of her boyfriend. Rival ships include but are not limited to; Candacy and Jeretrane.
