Starshifter is the non-binary ship between Zari Tarazi and Charlie from the Legends of Tomorrow fandom.

Charlie and Behrad end up reuniting on the Waverider, when Zari comes forward complaining to Behrad. Behrad introduces the two, and Zari compliments Charlie on her fashion sense. A team meeting is called and Zari heads to the bridge, Charlie checking her out as she walks away.
Later, Ava says that they need to sneak in and looks to Charlie for an answer. Charlie is offended that Ava would assume that just because she's a shapeshifter she's automatically sneaky, when Zari puts a pause in the conversation. She asks about Charlie being a shapeshifter, and Charlie says that she is. She gets very close to Zari and flirtily says that she can shift into anyone she likes, which Zari likes the idea of. However, the flirting is put to a stop by Behrad.

Starshifter is a common ship in the Legends fandom, and started being shipped when Zari 2.0 was introduced. The ship was initially viewed as just the original Zarlie pairing, as it was hard to confirm whether or not Zari Tarazi would get the memories of Zari Tomaz back. So many fans saw their initial interactions as extensions of the pairing. Meaning that there was anticipation for Charlie to meet the new Zari again. As this would technically be the third time that they met. With Zari Tomaz originally meeting Amaya Jiwe, before meeting Charlie who took on Amaya's form, and finally Charlie meeting Zari Tarazi. Who is an alternate version of Zari.
However, Charlie and Zari Tarazi didn't interact as much as Charli and Zari Tomaz did. Disappointing many fans as just like the other Maisie and Tala pairing, the two had an insane amount of chemistry. Many hoped that it would be a case of "third time's the charm", that would allow the two to get together, but Zari was paired with John Constantine instead. Since Charlie left at the end of season 5, it meant all hope for the pairing was dashed, as well as every seeing any potential future Talaisie pairings. Overall most fans ended up preferring Zarlie, due to them sharing more screentime, and having a few episodes dedicated to their dynamic.
On AO3, Starshifter is the second most written ship for both Charlie and Zari. There are currently 80+ written works.
