StaticBelle is the het ship between Vox and Charlie Morningstar from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.
Canon[]
Season One[]
Vox knows that Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar and is the Princess of Hell, and through Valentino he not only learns about her hotel but also the return of his rival, Alastor. Afterwards Vox wanted to ensure that Charlie doesn't make any deals with the Radio Demon and began to spy on the hotel. At first Vox tried to plant an inside man into the hotel and made sure that his spy was someone Charlie would take in, with Vox viewing her as a bleeding heart. Charlie's kindness and forgiveness of Sir Pentious, however, led to his reform. Costing Vox his spy, Vox had to rely on drones with build in cameras. They hover outside the hotel, as he wasn't able to get any cameras inside the building. Although Charlie was standing next to the window of her room when she agrees to Alastor's deal, it is unknown on whether or not Vox's drones caught the very thing he didn't want to happen.
Once Vox saw Charlie and her friends preparing to fight the Exorcists through his spy drones, he found it amusing from believing that they were doomed to fail. Unaware that Charlie and her friends were able to get their hands on the weapons and knowledge on how to kill an angel; when he said those words. As he mocks Charlie's dream of ending the extermination peacefully, by redeeming sinners and getting them excepted into Heaven, with Vox viewing the hotel's preparation of the battle as a sign that Charlie has failed to do so. Throughout the battle Vox observed it from within the safety of V Tower, with his fellows Vees, while Charlie was left being completely unaware of this. After the battle was over, as Charlie gets to work in rebuilding the destroyed hotel with her friends, Vox and Vees make plans to make Hell theirs. With Charlie's photo being briefly seen on the targets board that the three Overlords have of the Morningstars, Alastor and other Overlords.
Season Two[]
A month after Charlie rebuild the hotel, it began to become filled with sinners wanting to kill angels than seeking redemption, and Vox wasn't happy that Charlie was receiving positive reviews from the media. One of those media sourcing being from one of his own employees and goes to scold Katie Killjoy for it, telling her to slander Charlie and to ensure the Vees are seen in a positive light. While Vox was talking to Katie about making Hell fear Charlie, he gets the idea to use her hotel to his advantage. With the Vees targeting sinners who are down on their luck in order to obtain their souls through the promise of fame, it makes the hotel a threat to them as Charlie's goal of getting souls into Heaven meant that those sinners will be afar away from the grasps of overlords, and her tactics to hopefully redeem them involves helping sinners to become free of the vulnerabilities that the Vees exploit. As Charlie continues her work to get souls into Heaven, Vox aims to take over not only Hell but also Heaven. Not long after Charlie made it clear that she's not building another army to attack Heaven with and asks sinners not seeking redemption to leave, Vox seizes the opportunity to take in the souls she turned away, to make the Vees look like the good guys. Along with having 666 news twist both the story and facts in order to make Charlie look like the bad guy and ensure Hell begins to hate her. Charlie saw this and becomes angry, but Vaggie tells her not to not let it get to her and that the news report will blow over; like most media stories do. Unaware that it was just the first of Vox's media attacks to come.
Fanon[]
StaticBelle is one of the ships between Charlie and a member of the Vees, much like Charlentino and RoyalVelvette; which are also rarepairings like StaticBelle is. Although Charlie and Vox didn't interact throughout season one, it didn't stop fans from shipping them. With many of the fanworks of the ship being of a positive and romantic nature. It tends to be overshadowed by its two main rival ships, Chaggie and StaticMoth with them being canon.
Once it was revealed that Vox and the Vees will be the main antagonists of season two, StaticBelle fans became pleased with the thought of Charlie meeting Vox and having canon interactions with him. That is why many fans of the ship got existed with the sneak peek image of the two at the hotel. Though one of the other sneak peek images, that also relates to the two, being of Vox making Hell think Charlie is a dictator, has the ship receive hate as well. Just has Charlentino gained hate for how Valentino treated her, though it didn't stop fans from supporting it. The same can be said about StaticBelle, as no matter the nature of how Vox chooses to treat Charlie in the second season, there will always be people who'll choose to support it.
