Steamdrogen is the family ship between Momma and Hydra from the Starlight Express fandom.
Canon[]
Momma decides that she's going to race in the championships and tries to get one of the fuel trucks to go with her. Slick, Lumber and Porter all say no, when Hydra announces himself. The other fuel trucks are annoyed by this, but Momma quickly scolds them for this. Hydra offers to go with Momma, but Momma is hesitant, even with her strength. He says she's out of touch, but Momma believes that his tank would weight too much for her. She says it would take too long, but Hydra begs her to take him. Rusty then interrupts to say that every spot in the race is filled anyways, which Control interrupts to tell that a spot has opened up. Momma then decides to take Hydra anyways and the two head off.
Control then announces each other racers, with Momma and Hydra in track four. The race then begins, but Momma and Hydra are initially stuck. Momma is eventually able to get them going but the two remain in last for most of the race. But after a crash and a fight Momma and Hydra end up being the only trains on the track and place in the finals. Hydra initially celebrates, but Momma is exhausted and passes out when Rusty comes to meet them. Hydra admits that it's his fault as his tank is too heavy for an engine as old as Momma. Porter tells him off and he skates away sadly.

Momma and Hydra being family has become a common theory within the StEx fandom. Or at least for fans of the London Revival. Some fans believe that Hydra is Mama's son. Or at the very least that Hydra looks to her as a mother figure. This extends to the other fuel trucks and sometimes Rusty as well. With Momma being considered their guardian above all else. Fans of the ship Tendersteam tend will sometimes see Momma as Rusty's mother though. Turning their relationship into Hydra trying to be a good potential son-in-law for her. On AO3, Steamdrogen is the sixth most written ship for Hydra. There are currently 5 written works.
