Stellavia is the family ship between Stella and Octavia from the Helluva Boss fandom.

Canon

Stella gave birth to Octavia out of duty to the Goetia line, while being stuck in a loveless marriage to Prince Stolas. Who spends the most time with Octavia, while Stella couldn't be bothered to tend to their daughter. As shown in the flashback opening of the episode "Loo Loo Land," with Stella not wanting to get out of bed when a child Octavia cries out for her parents after having a nightmare. The flashback of the "Not Divorced" party among her fellow Goetia in "The Circus", even had Stella brag about how she was the one to put in the effort to conceive Octavia and was grateful to only lay one egg. Although Stella is seen smiling in family photos of her with Octavia and Stolas, she isn't seen spending much time with Octavia on screen. Even though Stolas has mentioned Stella taking Octavia out of the mansion on weekends, more than once. After Stolas told Stella to leave, while Octavia stays with him, she began accusing him of turning Octavia against her despite Stolas denying this.

When Stella tried to have Stolas killed in "Western Energy," her brother Andrealphus points out that Octavia being the current heir meant that she'll be one to inherit Stolas's throne, while Stella would get nothing should he die. Meaning that Stella needs to get custody of her daughter in the process of the divorce. Octavia was already worried that Stolas would leave her for Blitzo, allowing Stella to make her daughter think that she is the only parent who cares about her. From how Stella was there to comfort Octavia, after she saw Stolas prepared to die in Blitz's place, Stella pulls Octavia into an embrace and allows her daughter to cry in her arm. Acting as the caring mother when Octavia was in need of a parent's love and comfort most. Unknown to Octavia, her mother and uncle were the ones who set events that got Stolas removed from power; and from their lives. After Stella caught Octavia about to answer a call from Stolas, she mocks her for it and then forbids Octavia from ever contacting him. Taking away her phone and then brags to Andrealphus on the number of times Stolas tries to call her, like it was a joke to be laughed at, paying no mind to how her words on the subject affect Octavia. Who is suffering from losing her father and having her home feel cold and empty, since Stella moved back in. Despite this, Octavia's new found hatred for Stolas has her staying with Stella.

Fanon

Stellavia is considered a rare familyship, due to it being overshadowed by Stolavia and the limited number of interactions between the Goetia mother and daughter. Fans dislike the way Stella treated Octavia in "Sinsmas", feeling that Stella sees Octavia as one of the many possessions she and her brother manged to take away from Stolas. From how she referred to Octavia as "his daughter" rather than hers, despite being her mother. The events of "Western Energy" indicate that Stella may only see her child as a means to an end, and her words in "The Circus" have also made fans believe that she has no real love for Octavia. Despite this thought though, there have been those who like to think that Stella does care for Octavia deep down.

There are theories that Stella resents Octavia, from how her arranged marriage to Stolas forced her to have the child she probably never wanted, and having to carry the egg of that child inside of her. Stolas being the loving father he has been shown to be, has also lead to the theory that he took the full-frontal assault of Stella's abuse, so she wouldn't harm Octavia and to ensure that their daughter has a positive view of her mother; while keeping the abuse a secret. Explaining why Octavia has been shown to not resent Stella and does not understand why Stolas hates her mother. Making people think that "Mastermind" wasn't the only time Stella played the role of the loving mother, and has used weekends as a means to have mother/daughter time away from Stolas.

After Stella and her brother got custody of Octavia, fans became worried that season three would have the two force Octavia to fulfil her Goetia duties, like her mother did before her. Be forced into a loveless marriage and carry the weight of bearing a child, to continue on their bloodline. Though it is a fate that fans don't wish for Octavia, some feel that it would help her better understand Stella. Along with gaining a better understanding of Stolas, and the choices he made.

Due to the number of Disney references in both Hellaverse shows, the hug scene between Stella and Octavia in "Mastermind" as got people to view them as Mother Gothel and Rapunzel from Tangled.[1][2][3] Feeling that Stella will end up telling Octavia that "Mother Knows Best," or simply a line that has a similar ring to it.
