Terror in the Third Dimension[]
Steph is annoyed that she's fighting crime instead of catching up with Kara. Especially since she doesn't have that many friends to begin with. Steph asks Kara not to hold it against her, and Kara has a quick quip back. They joke some more as they continue to fight Dracula.
Earlier that night, Steph is with her mom when there's ring at her door. She answers it to find that it's Kara. The two go to hang out, and Kara asks if Steph's mom knows she's Batgirl. Steph says that she doesn't, and Kara says that at least she has a good relationship with her. Steph says it always hasn't been that way, and Kara tells her to appreciate the time that she has with her, which Steph tries to. She asks if it's a slow night in Metropolis, and Kara says that it is. She asks Steph the same and Steph says that Kara pretty much saved her from her typical Friday night.
Kara is amazed by Steph's college life and suggests several stereotypical activities for them to do. Kara asks how many college movies she's been watching and Kara said she's watched all of them. Steph gets what Kara is saying and Kara says it's never too late to start taking advantage of college life. They get interrupted by a guy running between the two, only to run off again. Kara jokes that they already met a boy, but Steph jokes that running away is normally what boys do to her. Kara suggests they see a movie, and Steph isn't sure, but when Kara points out that it's in 3-D, she decides they have no choice.

StephKara has a decent following among DC fans. Mostly among fans who got into the comics shortly before the New 52 reboot. Although both are more often shipped with other Batgirls. The ship started due to their shared crossovers during the late 2000's and early 2010's, before the New 52. On AO3 there are currently 50 works.
