Stilith is the friendship between Lilith Clawthorne and Steve from The Owl House fandom.
Canon[]
Steve is known as the coven scout who has been seen beside Lilith and appeared to be close with her. From how he attends her new job celebration party after she left the Emperor's Coven, he used his day off to spend it with his friend, while his mask subjected that he was still with the coven. Until he removed it his mask in the same episode that revealed both him and Lilith to be part of the rebel group against Belos. Before Lilith learned that he was with the C.A.T.s, however, she and Hooty mistook him as a danger to King; until he reassured them that Steve can be trusted. Lilith was then seen blushing with embarrassment when Steve told her he could recommend a good therapist. After the Collector turned Steve back to normal and saw Lilith checking on him, Steve pulls her into a hug and he is being happy to see her. Just as Lilith was happy to see him. Indicating that the two might have been close from their Coven days and managed to maintain their friendship.
Even though season one didn't showcase the friendship they might have shared. With Lilith appearing to only view Steve as another Coven scout, who has addressed himself as the third person while standing next to her. Because of the mask Steve wore for a large part of the series, it makes it hard to know which scout is him among the other scouts Lilith has under her command as Coven Head.

Stilith was originally placed as a het ship, until Lilith stated that she isn't interested in dating and she is older than Steve by a lot. That is why Stilith was first seen as a crack ship from season one. From how it had Steve by Lilith's side when they were members of the same coven, along with Steve attending Lilith's party to celebrate her new job. With Lilith being aromantic, however, it has fans steering clear of Lilith ships in general. Unless they are of a friendship or family-like nature. Those who have treated it as a het ship have tried to ship haters that Stilith was created long before this fact about Lilith was revealed. Along with how many of the early Stilith fanfics and art were of Steve having a crush on Lilith, since a few drama related stories sometimes have people falling in-love with their superiors. Those who want to respect Lilith being an aromantic tend to view Stilith as a friendship.
Those that want to keep Stilith as a het ship, however, like to point out that Lilith was seen blushing in front of Steve, however, this could just be due to embarrassment. Along with throwing in the hints that Steve may have saw Lilith as more than just a work friend. As well as Lilith recognizing Steve without his mask, even though his name is on his shirt.
Because of the person Lilith once was in season, people prefer to feature Steve with season two and three Lilith. From how "fun aunt" Lilith is most likely to be kind and nice to Steve. Rather than Coven Head Lilith who wouldn't pay him any mind. That is why some people were surprised of Steve's loyalty and fondness for Lilith, before and after she left the Emperor's Coven. One group likes to think that Lilith might somehow be connected to Steve's choice to leave the coven as well. After the time skip showed glimpses of the relationships Lilith has with the Hexsquad and those who are close to Eda, some fans got upset that it didn't showcased parts of the relationship she has with Steve. Even though he was at the party Lilith set-up for Luz, and it wouldn't be surprising if Steve was revealed to be one of the people who lend her a hand.
