Stobotnik is the slash ship between Ivo Robotnik and Agent Stone from the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

Highly acclaimed roboticist and widely controversial due to his wild and egomaniacal nature, government-agent Ivo Robotnik is called in to assess and investigate a sudden and unexplained wide-scale power outage that had occurred within Green Hills Montana, which, unbeknownst to the United States government, had accidentally been caused by Sonic The Hedgehog.
Robotnik proudly arrives at the scene of the accident, where military personnel are also investigating the scene. He begins eccentrically berating and mocking the sergeant while Agent Stone, his assistant who accompanies him at all times, begins translating Robotnik's belittlement and scorn for the sergeant to further emphasize mockery onto him, assuming the sergeant too idiotic to understand the doctors insults. After displaying and dispatching his legion of highly advanced drones, Robotnik proudly shouts and exclaims to the nearby Stone observing behind him the state of evolution.
Later, within his heavily modified and technologically advanced military truck, Robotnik is able to analyse the scans of the tracks left behind the animal that his drones were able of discovering in a sweep search to determine the exact height, weight, and spinal structure of the creature that had caused the power outage. He realises that no organism in the animal kingdom matches the body type of the creature. Upon deducing that it now must be of alien origin, Robotnik excitedly expresses to Stone his ambitions of obtaining the power of this creature to use for himself and the vast potential this raw power could have for his technology.
Robotnik's pursuit then leads him to the nearby house of Green Hills' local sheriff, Tom Wachowski, and forces his way into his house, fiercely demanding to know where the creature is. He discovers Sonic before Tom punches him in the face. Agent Stone enters the house soon after, being concerned for the safety of the doctor and wanting to check on him, who in turn is outraged and furious at this showcase of care for him as opposed to logistically pursuing Sonic and Tom. He grabs Stone's jaw, pulling him into an intensely close scolding session on his lack of intelligence.
Stone and Robotnik then start a fierce pursuit for Sonic and Tom to all their last known locations, eventually leading them to a bar that had previously been visited by the two. There, they interrogate a disgruntled inhabitant who was recovering from a serious injury caused by Sonic. The inhabitant begins behaving hostile towards Stone, who in turn is stopped and instructed to stand down by Robotnik before he could return the hostilities to deal with the witness himself. After diverting rudeness onto Robotnik, the witness promptly launched through a window by the doctor. Robotnik and Stone leave through the saloon doors. Robotnik offers Stone a congratulatory high five. and he naively attempts to return it before being karate chopped in the neck by Robotnik, who coldly quips that Stone shouldn't have left himself open.
After returning to the truck, Robotnik eventually manages to pinpoint the location of Tom's car and unleashes his drones upon the vehicle, with both Tom and Sonic inside. This attack is stopped and thwarted by Sonic, who manages to destroy his robots and evade capture. Stone wrongly makes the decision to compliment Sonic's abilities in Robotnik's presence, who orders him to pin himself against the wall. Stone instantly obliges without complaint, and endures another intensely close rant from Robotnik on the unreliability within humans and how he "won't miss [Stone] when he's gone".
Before this tirade can be completed, however, Robotnik finds the quill that Sonic left behind in Stone's blazer. The doctor realizes he can harness Sonic's power from this quill. While experimenting on it, Robotnik gleefully begins listening to music on his headphones while dancing. Stone enthusiastically begins to join in to from behind. This startles and frightens Robotnik. Stone, who is clutching onto two cups of coffee, warmly tells him that he thought he may want a latte. Robotnik rhetorically questions if he looks like an imbecile to Stone, and then angrily shouts, "Of course I want a latte. I love the way you make them!".
After successfully harnessing the powers of Sonic's quill, Robotnik tells Stone to prepare his prototype hovercraft, which uses its power, and launches an attack upon Sonic and Tom, who is now accompanied by his girlfriend Maddie. Sonic and Robotnik engage in a fierce battle across several locations, thanks to Sonic wielding rings with teleportation properties. The fight eventually leads back to Green Hills. Sonic is seriously wounded in the fight, but the friendship him and Tom developed gives him the motivation to reach a new level of speed and use one of the rings to banish Robotnik. The doctor gets sent to a mysterious planet covered in mushrooms. Due to this intense level of isolation on the alien planet, Robotnik eventually descends further into madness, now rambling to a rock he had sculpted which he names Agent Stone. He pretends it's his assistant, and lugs it around on the alien landscape.

The ship between Robotnik and Stone became extremely popular after the release of the first film, and is arguably the most popular ship to spawn from the film series itself.
Many heavily connected with the dynamic between the two and found Stone's unwavering and passionate admiration for Robotnik to be a strong indication of some form of romantic infatuation. While Robotnik doesn't seem to reciprocate on the surface, he does showcase and demonstrate a clear affection and bond towards Stone, despite it heavily conflicting with his philosophy of hating humans and any form of human connection, thus making Stone the singular exception of this strong ideology he holds.
Lee Majdoub, the actor of Agent Stone, publicly supports the ship and reposts numerous fanarts of the pairing. Robotnik's actor, Jim Carrey, has also expressed some form of endorsement to the idea of a potential connection being possible between the two and that Stone undeniably has the closest bond Robotnik is capable of having.
