Stricklake is the het ship between Walter Strickler and Barbara Lake from the Tales of Arcadia fandom.

Through Jim Strickler learns of the struggle Barbara is going through while Jim does what he can to help her. This has Strickler offering the Lakes help when approached Jim on the subject.

Part 3

When Barbara's memories of trolls and Strickler's true form through were returning through her dreams, she began to paint the creatures and people from it. Her painting of Changeling Strickler, that she call "Goodbye Walt" was done on her biggest campus. As she shows the painting to Jim she tells him that Strickler's horns are handsome. Along with Barbara sharing her negative thoughts about the way Strickler disappeared from her life, like her ex-husband had done before him. As Strickler takes a stroll in town while talking to Jim on the phone, he sees Barbara having coffee at the place they used to have their dates at and hide from her. Due to his fears of what she thinks of him from being gone for so long. After Strickler was forced to drink the gravesand coffee and it causes him to attack Jim, the changeling confesses his true reasons for returning back to Arcadia. Not to help Jim prepare for his future fight with Gummar, but to protect the human woman he loves. To snap Strickler out of it, Jim tells him that Barbara still cares about him. This gives Strickler the courage to approach Barbara at her house, but her hurt feelings has Barbara turn him away by slamming the door in his face. Even though a part of her was glad that Strickler did come back.

As Strickler helps Jim and Toby save Claire from Morgana, the witch tries to make the changeling trap the two boys in the shadow realm by making herself look and sound like Barbara. While offering him the chance to make Barbara love him, but Strickler didn't want to win Barbara back through a "stole heart" and had already decided to become a better man than he was before he met her. After Barbara remembered everything that happened the night Angor Rot attacked them and had later got Jim and his friends to come clam about their life to their parents, Strickler comes over to the Lake house where he shares stories with Barbara's guests. This has the Nuñez and Nancy Domzalski ask Barbara why she let Strickler go, her answer was that Strickler had tried to kill her son before walking away. With an hour of no messages from Jim or the others when they left for Merlin's tomb, Strickler can see that Barbara has been putting on a brave face for the others while being worried on the inside, Strickler saw this and once they were alone in the kitchen he tries to offer her some comfort.

3Below

Part two of 3Below shows that Barbara and Strickler have started dating again and even though Strickler is no longer able to transform back into his human form again, the aftermath events of the "The Eternal Knight" has Arcadia excepting the Trolls who stayed behind in their town. Meaning that Barbara and Strickler don't need to hide their relationship or the fact that Strickler isn't human, since the two were briefly seen through the window of Douxie's place of work with AAARRRGGHH!!!, in the opening prologue of "Moving Day".

While the Strickler's reaction in "The Eternal Knight Part 2" shows that he wasn't happy with the fact that Barbara is now the adopted mother of the Changeling Familiars, the family moments shown in the prologue of "Mother's Day" has Strickler helping Barbara with her adopted children during a blackout. The sweet moment shows that Strickler has adjusted to fatherhood and has moved in with Barbara, so she won't have to raise the large number of babies alone. Along with him with embracing her makes the two look like a married couple and loving family.

Rise of the Titans

Sometime before the beginning scene of the climax film, Strickler and Barbara get engaged, and the changeling asks Jim to be his best man.

Fanon

Stricklake is considered to be the most popular ship between the two characters in the first Tales of Arcadia story, Trollhunters. Since fans love their shared moments in the show and the fact that Strickler is a father-like figure to Barbara's son, that is why some fans add Barbara in the fanon familyship between Jim and Strickler. While Blinky also being a father figure to Jim and the time he spend with Barbara as a temporally human, had got a few fans to see Galadrilake as Stricklake's rival ship. Their brief moments in 3Below pleased Stricklake fans as it shows that the two have rekindled their relationship.

Some fans have compared them with Marianna and Bog King from Strange Magic, Roxanne and Megamind from DreamWorks Megamind, Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast and other human none-human couples who are similar to them. Like Jim and Claire were when Jim was turned into a half human troll, until he became human again.

On AO3, the ship has 317 fanfics, while FanFiction.net has 34 with only 5 placed under pairing in its Trollhunters category.
