Subazura is the het ship between Subaki and Azura from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Azura is a Nohrian princess. After Corrin's kidnapping by Garon (the king of Nohr) Hoshido (Corrin's country) abduct Azura when she was a child in hope to get Corrin back in exchange for her return to Nohr. Garon refused to return Corrin, so Hoshido kept Azura but Mikoto (Queen of Hoshido) treated Azura as a member of her family rather than a prisoner. Subaki is from a family who served Hoshido's royal family for generations. He became the retainer of princess Sakura (the youngest child of Hoshidan royal family). In Conquest, Corrin will choose their Nohrian family. Azura will follow them, but Subaki stays loyal to Hoshido, they will became enemies and fight at one point. Subaki, along with Sakura and the others, are captured, but spared by Corrin's army. In Birthright and in Revelation Azura and Subaki will be in Corrin's army, they will be able to develop a relationship and will eventually marry if the players make them reach a S support together.
C Support[]
In their C support Azura is attacked by a mysterious person inside the camp. Subaki saves her and defeat their enemy who menace Azura before escaping. Subaki said that he is choked that an enemy soldier could go so far inside their camp and that they should reinforce the security. Azura express that she is not sure about this but don't develop her thought and thanks Subaki.
B Support[]
In their B support Azura is attacked by a group (with among them the aggressor of the last time), and once again Subaki rescues her. After the battle Subaki promise to stay close to Azura day and night to protect her. They found an armband dropped by their enemy, Azura immediately recognize it as the crest of some distant cousins of the royal family. Subaki is shocked to discover that some Hosidians would want to kill Azura. Azura thanks him for saving her twice.
A Support[]
In their A support Subaki explains that he dealt with all the traitor who wanted to hurt Azura but remark that she still sad. Azura tell him that when she lived in Nohr the servants of the royal family where cruel to her and that even in Hoshido, some people despise her. Subaki explains that she don't need to worry anymore because he will always protect her. Azura asks him how he can do this since he is already Sakura's retainer, Subaki answers that Azura is Sakura's sister thus he is bound to protect her to and that he is able of guarding them both.
S Support[]
In their S support Subaki confess that he has developed romantic feelings for Azura, Azura reveals that she also fell for him. They marry and have two children Caledori and Shigure.
Azura's fate is different in Birthright and in Revelation. In Birthright, she sacrifices herself to defeat Garon. However in Revelation, she survives After freeing Valla from Anankos decline to offer of being the queen of the kingdom (she is the daughter of the late king of Valla) in favor of Corrin. She became their personal advisor, while Subaki is appointed chief of the pegasus knights. Regardless of the route chosen in the end, Azura's entire existence is a huge mystery by future scholars and historians, her existence is proven thanks to the records of her marriage to her husband.

Shigure[]
Shigure is the son of Subaki and Azura and the brother of Caeldori. He was born during the war and placed into the Deeprealms for his safety. Since time is different in the Deeprealms he joined Corrin's army to fight alongside his parents. Like his father and sister he is a pegasus knight and he also inherited Azura's gift for singing.
Caeldori[]
Caeldori is the daughter of Subaki and Azura and the sister of Shigure. She was born during the war and placed into the Deeprealms for her safety. Since time is different in the Deeprealms she joined Corrin's army to fight alongside her parents. Like her father and her brother she is a pegasus kinght. She want to be as competent as her father.
Fanon[]
Subazura is a rare pairing. Its popularity is overshadowed by popular rival parings mainly Azurrin, Takumi x Azura, Selena x Subaki (a Revelation-exclusive pairing) and Hinoka x Subaki. The pairing is mainly liked because it makes Shigure Subaki's son and Caledori's brother who all start with the Sky Knight class. The ship is also liked for gameplay purposes because it gives a good Caeledori. Some players who pair Azura with Subaki choose to reclass her into a sky knight to get a family of flying units.
