SuguRiko is the het ship between Suguru Geto and Riko Amanai from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.

Gojo's Past Arc[]
Riko is found to be a match to merge with Tengen, which she accepts. Geto and Gojo are tasked with escorting her to Jujutsu High in order to merger with Tengen. As Riko is waiting for Geto and Gojo, she is suddenly attacked by soldiers of Q. Riko flies off a building but is rescued from the Q soldiers by the arrival of Geto who catches her in his arms. Riko wakes up and, as she believes the boys kidnapped her, she slaps Gojo, which makes Geto laugh. Riko wonders who Geto and Gojo are and the two wonder why Riko is so spunky before the merger. Riko explains to them how she views the merging with Tengen, and starts to yell at them when they stop listening to her. Riko suddenly notices that she is really late for school, and has them take her there.
Riko then attends her classes, but doesn't have Geto nor Gojo stay by her side. Geto meets up with Misato and asks about Riko but an intruder escapes from the school kidnaps her. Geto meets up with Gojo and Riko to discuss what they will do next. The three then heads to Okinawa and manage to rescue Misato. After the rescue, the four decide to enjoy Okinawa and have fun there before heading back to Tokyo. When its time to leave, Riko convinces the others to stay one more day. The next day, they leave Okinawa and arrive at the college, but they are suddenly attacked by Toji Fushiguro. Riko is quickly brought into the college by Geto.
Once the two reach the main chamber of the tomb, Geto gives Riko directions on where Tengen is. However, Geto also tells her that she can leave if she choses to do so. Riko explains how she was originally okay with the merger but now she isn't as she wants to be with everyone. Geto then says that he will take her away, but Riko is suddenly shot in the head by Toji in front of his eyes. Toji beats Geto and knocks him out. When Geto wakes up he finds out that, not only is Toji dead, but that Gojo has retrieved Riko's body.
Yuki tells Geto about Riko and Tengen
Months later, Yuki Tsukumo shows up at the college and talks to Geto. She tells him that Tengen has stabilized and that a merger is no longer necessary, making Geto feel like all that suffering was for nothing.

Riko and Geto appear in the same afterlife scene.

SuguRiko is not a popular ship in the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom as it currently has 28 fanfictions on AO3. SuguRiko is Riko's most popular ship and Suguru's 16th most popular ship. Fans ship these two together because the ship represents an era before everything went bad. Fans appreciate how nice Geto is to Riko and how spunky she is. During the short amount of time they had together, they truly enjoyed each other's company. Riko's death marks the beginning of Geto's downward spiral.
