Suho & Suho’s Mother is the family ship between Ahn Suho and his mother from the Weak Hero fandom.
Canon[]
Chapter 33
Stephen Ahn (Ahn Suho in the Korean version) is called to the rooftop by Bryce Oh (Oh Beomseok in the Korean version), Oswald Yang (Yang Seonghun in the Korean version), and the third bully in their group. The bullies cause him to fall from the rooftop of Byuksan Middle School. An ambulance is called and he is taken to Gangnam General Hospital. Stephen's mother is contacted and she goes to the hospital.
The doctor tells Stephen's mom that Stephen sustained serious brain damage and that for now, the chances of him returning to a normal level of health are low. Other than life support, there aren’t any other clear options that will guarantee results. He will definitely live but he won’t be able to live normally for the rest of his life.
She is shown crying in the background as Gray Yeon (Yeon Sieun in the Korean version) arrives and enters Stephen’s hospital room.
Chapter 34
In the principal’s office, Oscar Yang (Yang Seongchan in the Korean version) and the school admin decide to not make the incident a larger problem. They don’t think Stephen’s mom will cause any trouble as long as they choose their words carefully. Since there isn’t any solid evidence of Oswald Yang’s involvement, they declare that Stephen fell on his own.
Chapter 37
After Gray gets revenge against Bryce Oh, Oswald Yang, and the third guy, Gray goes to Gangnam General Hospital to visit Stephen again. The front desk informs him that Stephen was transferred to another hospital because his treatment options were very limited at Gangnam General and Stephen’s mom wanted to leave the place as well. Gray no longer knows where Stephen is.

Not many people write about Stephen’s mother outside of the few canon scenes shown in the Byuksan Arc flashback. Fans who do write about her write her as a loving mother. Some fans have her aware of Stephen’s friendship with Gray while others have her not having any knowledge of her son’s friendships, oftentimes due to working a lot. Some fans think that the other person at Donghae Rest Stop working with Stephen could have been his mother instead of a completely new person.
Some fans write her as being aware of her son’s friendship with Gray. In some fanfics, she holds resentment towards Gray for just being a bystander when Stephen was being bullied. In AUs where Stephen has amnesia, some fanfics have her hiding Gray’s existence from Stephen and not wanting him to reunite with him, hence why Stephen never contacted Gray after waking up from his coma.
In some fanfics, Stephen’s mother struggles to pay her son’s hospital bills while he’s comatose and on life support. She ends up having no choice but to cut off the life support due to not being able to afford the bills any longer. This breaks her heart.
