SuiGarou is the slash ship between Garou and Suiryu from the One Punch Man fandom.
Canon[]
Chapter 60[]
At the start of the 22nd Super Fight Tournament in C-City, Suiryu thinks about the time when he was watching the previous Super Fight tournament on TV and witnessed the mysterious “Wolfman” win the tournament. Ever since he has wanted to fight him. Though, as told in chapter 53, unbeknownst to almost everyone the Wolfman happened to actually be Garou in the costume who at the time had stolen the identity and costume from an actual participant. When the actual participant was found unconscious, it led to the ban of fake names and costumes that disguise tournament participants real identities. Despite this Suiryu wishes to have this fight some day with the actual winner, even though he isn’t aware it’s Garou (who he isn’t familiar with either).
Chapter 157 (online)[]
Suiryu is in hospital recovering from the horrible injuries he got during the monster attack to the Super Fight Tournament, and his sister Suiko is visiting him. He watches when the news on TV speaks about a fiendish monster “attacking” the news crew, and they show a video of the “horrible monster” when it “attacked” the news helicopter, but they do also point out that the helicopter managed to escape without incident. What the news crew didn’t know to tell was that the “horrible monster”, being Garou in his monster form, only scared them away before another monster, Sage Centipede could kill them. The news crew then wonder if the S-class heroes are able to defeat this “violent monster”.
Suiko watches the news also and is a bit troubled by what she learned and saw. She thinks that if that monster can latch onto the helicopter like that in mid-air, they can’t get away. Suiryu then tells his sister that the helicopter still didn’t crash, nor did he feel any killing intent from the monster (Garou). However, he seems a little bit confused as he tells also that he isn’t sure why he doesn’t feel any animosity from it. Suiko returns to watch the TV screen that shows the image of the monster Garou’s face up-close and she seems to reluctantly agree with her brother, even though she also seems confused.
Game and Rivals[]
Game and Rivals is the tenth OVA for One Punch Man anime series, where both Suiryu and Garou happened to participate in a video game tournament. The genre was fighting games, and participants could choose to play it with VR or traditionally using a game controller. Both Suiryu and Garou chose to play the game using VR, and their martial arts background made it easy to climb to the semi-finales. Suiryu had chosen a dragon avatar while Garou’s avatar was a wolf in the game. They both played in different venues, so those who fought against each other didn’t necessarily see each other in real life.
As they finally end up against each other in the game, the game starts with Suiryu showing his strength. Garou observes the dragon avatar’s movement while defending and is happy to see that someone worth fighting against has appeared. Then the real fight starts. Suiryu gets hit at one point by smirking Garou, but then he hits Garou hard which turns him serious. There is an amazing fight happening between them both, showing how their respective fighting styles clash, Void Fist versus Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
In the end Garou’s VR equipment gliches because of his speed, and Suiryu’s dragon avatar manages to beat his wolf avatar. Garou wants to know his opponent’s location, but they do not give it to him as they don’t know because they don’t want any trouble. Garou then gives up and leaves.
Webcomic[]

In webcomic Suiryu and Garou do get to finally meet in the Neo Heroes Arc. As Suiryu works for and leads a team of Neo Heroes to catch Garou. The ex-Hero Hunter was now working part-time in a Beaver Movers company, helping to move boxes. However, when he gained praise for his work from his superior, the Neo Heroes attack by sending a tranquilizer dart shower towards Garou. They first think they got him, but Suiryu already saw that they didn’t. The Neo Heroes then realize that Garou snatched every single one of them with his hands and mouth. He drops them and then he fights the Neo Heroes, meanwhile Suiryu watches the whole thing. As Garou defeats them all, only then does he appear in front of him.
Suiryu praises Garou’s strength, and reveals that he knows Garou is Bang’s former student, and that he has heard that Garou gave the S-class a hard time during the Monster Association fight. He then proclaims that he isn’t going to go easy on him and will take him back to Neo Heroes HQ. Garou isn’t showing any interest or reaction at Suiryu which he also notes. The fight starts, and it’s a show of their powerful respective fighting styles. Suiryu throws Garou’s employer’s truck at him and destroys it, even though Garou told him not to, and then calls Suiryu an asshole for doing it, Suiryu continues his attack barrage. After the attacks, Garou casually walks forward and kicks Suiryu, who only dodges it and moves away. Suiryu then notes that Garou barely has used half of his strength and decides to use the battle suit that every Neo Leader has. It powers up Suiryu when he attacks Garou, though he notes again that Garou is still able to keep up with him and start to match his movements. Then Suiryu uses a “limiter release” mode in the suit and starts hitting Garou. It eventually goes out of control and pummels Garou to the ground. Suiryu tries to stop it, until it finally does.
He is a bit worried as he wonders if he killed him when he sees Garou not move at all, but then he suddenly stands up and moves menacingly towards him, surprising Suiryu. He can’t fight back anymore, as he can’t move thanks to his battle suit not working after the out-of-control onslaught. Garou however does stop when his supervisor yells at the destruction his poor truck and the client’s cargo suffered. The employer blames Suiryu and then Garou for the destruction, and Suiryu tries to warn him that Garou is dangerous and he should leave.
Though Garou himself eventually just leaves without a word when his now ex-employer tells Suiryu to capture him.
Fanon[]
SuiGarou is a rarepair within the One Punch Man fandom, as they have yet to really meet in the manga/anime. This means that their relationship has not yet been explored canonically, except very briefly in webcomic. However, fans do find the pair’s dynamic quite interesting. Thanks to their clashing personalities and their martial arts background, that basically makes them perfect rivals also.

Trivia[]
- In webcomic, according to Suiryu, Bang (Garou's former teacher) was Suicho's (Suiryu's late grandfather) friend. This does add a more interesting coincidence and dynamic to the ship.
