SukuShimo is the slash ship between Ryomen Sukuna and Hajime Kashimo from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Kashimo was seeking Sukuna to satisfy him, and Sukuna links this to theme of "love" on Chapter 238.
Edo Era[]
400 years ago Kashimo was a strong sorcerer but he could never find an opponent who was strong enough for him. Dissatisfied, he asks Kenjaku to tell him about the strongest sorcerer he ever met. Kenjaku tells him Sukuna was the indisputable strongest 600 years ago and Kashimo accepts his offer to become a cursed object in order to fight him.
Perfect Preparation Arc[]
Kashimo expresses frustration over how weak the opponents in Tokyo Colony No. 2 are and wonders where Sukuna is. Hajime decides to add a rule to the Culling Game using 100 points from his current total of 200. This rule would allow him to find high level players whom he can fight.
Culling Game Arc[]
Kashimo meets Panda in Tokyo No.2 colony and asks him if he knows the whereabouts of Sukuna. Getting an inkling that Panda knows the answer, he says he will be merciful because he wants Panda to spit it out. After defeating Panda he asks the question again just in time for Hakari to show up. He asks the same question to Hakari and they begin to fight each other. Hakari defeats Kashimo who explains he didn't use his cursed technique as it can only be used one time and he wants to use it against Sukuna. Hakari offers Kashimo a deal: he can fight Sukuna if he gives him his points.
Shinjuku Showdown Arc[]
Before the sorcerers' fight with Sukuna, Kashimo begrudgingly lets Gojo be Sukuna's first opponent but he makes his dissatisfaction known.
Whilst watching Gojo's and Sukuna's fight, Kashimo is shocked to learn that Sukuna has an open barrier domain. He then says that Sukuna efficiency at using cursed energy is unmatched. Gojo appears to be losing and Kashimo tells Hakari that if he dies, he'll be the one to fight Sukuna next. The fight is getting tense and Kashimo tells the students to not intervene as he's the one next in line. He tells them this is a fight for Gojo's sake and they shouldn't intervene.
After Gojo dies, Kashimo does not wait and immediately jumps onto the battlefield to fight Sukuna. Seeing him, Sukuna tells him not to spoil his pleasure by disappointing him. Before they fight Kashimo asks Sukuna to explain how he can love while being so strong and Sukuna tells him he will answer his question. While fighting, Kashimo is in awe of Sukuna's body and technique. Sukuna kills Kashimo and joins him in the afterlife, he explains to Kashimo his views on love and his reason for becoming a cursed object.

Fanon[]
The ship is fairly popular within fandom spaces of twitter and tumblr, especially in the Japanese fandom. On AO3, Kashimo/Sukuna's tag has 10 works created. The fan fictions are seemingly focused on their hostility especially after chapter 237.
Fans appreciate the ship because, like Sukuna and Gojo, Sukuna and Kashimo are two of the strongest characters in the verse. Kashimo's reason for participating in the Culling Games was to meet Sukuna. He wanted to fight a worthy opponent but also have someone strong tell him how to connect with others weaker than him. Sukuna recognizes Kashimo as strong and allows him to die in combat. He also explains to Kashimo his views on love.
In november 2023, SukuShimo won a poll, organised by @caratyuji on Twitter, for best Jujutsu Kaisen ship. SukuShimo won with 1,155,286 votes and 51.3% of the votes. Botting was allowed[14].
Trivia[]
- While fighting Kashimo - who wants to be satisfied by fighting Sukuna - Sukuna introduces the theme of "loves" with "satisfaction": "Love is worthless. I never needed anyone to satisfy me."
- This introduces a subtext of romantic love, since this is not only Sukuna's response to Yorozu's romantic proposal.
