SunMarch is the het ship between Sunday and March 7th from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Sunday and March 7th are both members of the Astral Express in Honkai Star Rail, with Sunday currently being an unofficial member but accidentally leaked by the developers he would soon join the Astral Express officially in the future.
Trailblaze Mission[]
The pair met for the first time in Penacony’s hotel lobby in the quest The Youth Who Chase Dreams. There, Sunday vouches for the Astral Express crew and briefly interacts with March 7th and the others. We do not see them interacting much until the 2.2 quest.
After learning about Sunday’s true intentions, the Astral Express along with Firefly, confronts Sunday on the situation, where he then explains his side of the story. He gives the Astral Express a backstory behind everything, as well as choices of what they would do if they were in his place. March 7th is shown to agree with some of his points, particularly his “seven rest days” proposal. However, due to their contrasting beliefs, March 7th, Himeko, the MC, and Firefly engage in a battle with Sunday. March 7th participates in two battles against Sunday, both in the fake battle and the real boss fight. Sunday is eventually defeated, and we don’t see Sunday and March 7th interacting until the 2.7 livestream.
In the trailblaze mission, On The Eighth Day, Sunday once again makes his appearance after a long while. Despite his efforts to remain discreet, he was eventually confronted by Welt and brought to the rest of the crew, where he reunited with March 7th and the Trailblazer. At first, they were wary of Sunday, with March 7th even joking about him being another “extraordinary guest” (due to their mishap from last time) but then realized he had no intention nor was in the capacity to harm them. Sunday then parted from them once more to settle personal matters.
Sunday was then invited back onto the Express, asking if he could hitch-hike with them for the meantime. The crew would decide whether or not he would be staying with with them, and if the player chooses yes, March 7th would agree as well, relieved that Sunday is now a “good guy.”
In the events of Honkai Star Rail's 3.0 trailblazing quest in Amphoreus, the Astral Express crew goes to check on March 7th who is mysteriously feeling under the weather. Seeing this, Sunday offers his help with the power of harmony tuning to see what's causing her sudden illness. Though unsure of the reason, Sunday explains someone or something is preventing March 7th from going to Amphoreus, therefore causing her to fall ill. He advises that March 7th stay behind on the express, much to March's and the rest of the crew's dismay.

- During Honkai Star Rail’s 2.7 livestream, both Sunday and March 7th were the invited guests, along with Pompom. Here we are hinted that the two will be interacting with each other more during the trailblaze continuance, even hinting that Sunday may be joining the crew on future journeys.
- When you talk to Sunday on the express, he mentions his recent interactions with the rest of the crew, including March 7th, saying, “Even from Miss March 7th, I've learned... A lot.”
- In the Voice Artists’ 2025 New Years Wishes, Sunday’s chibi is shown to be cheering for March 7th with pink and blue glowsticks when her voice actor starts speaking.

SunMarch is a rarepair, only gaining slight popularity after Honkai Star Rail's 2.7 livestream. SunMarch has a small amount of fanart due to how small of a ship it is. Same goes for fanfiction, as there are only 5 romantic SunMarch works on Ao3. There is very few fancontent seen from them, with TikTok and Twitter some of the only sites where the particular pair is mentioned.

- During various trailblaze missions, March 7th frequently calls Sunday by the wrong name, such as "Friday" or "Monday".
- When introducing yourself to Jade for the first time, the three dialogue options are "Galactic Baseballer", "March 7th", and "Sunday".
- Both March 7th and Sunday are the only two Honkai Star Rail characters named after dates.
