Sunbleached is the slash ship between Sunny and Mikhael from the Omori fandom.

Canon

In headspace, Sunny imagines Mikhael as a creature called Mikal. He imagines him not too far from his personality in the real world. He can be found on the playground and if Sunny/Omori interacts with him he'll say he's going to swing to the moon. Sunny also added Mikhael's siblings in headspace as two twins who are making bread for all enterity, but are tired of it. Sunny uses Mikhaels hate for his families tradtions and making bed by turning them into bosses in headspace who hate bread as well.

When first meeting Mikhael, Sunny doesn't talk to him at all. Mikhael is found with the other hooligans after Sunny meets Aubrey for the first time, which is actually the first time he steps outside in 4 years. Sunny and Kel will then attack Aubrey, Sunny stabs her with a knife and the Hooligans run away trying to help Aubrey. Sunny doesn't talk with Mikhael and Mikhael doesn't talk to Sunny. None of the Hooligans are actually introduced until after they leave when trying to help Aubrey. Sunny first interacts with Mikhael when finding out Aubrey stole Basil's photo album, when trying to get the photo album back Sunny and Kel ask Angel where Mikhael could be. Angel tells them he's at the park and Sunny and Kel go there. Upon meeting Mikhael, he starts a fight. One of his attacks in the fight include smiling "seductively" which will then lower a characters attack, this can either be done on Sunny or Kel. The next day Sunny and Kel find Aubrey and the others bullying Basil. A fight will start and Sunny will (most likely) spray the other Hooligans with pepper spray, after which they'll back off. Later that night the same day Mikhael can be found standing outside his house claiming he can feel a evil presence inside his house, if Sunny goes inside it turns out it was actually just Mikhael's siblings playing with him. Interacting with him afterwards will cause him to ask Sunny if he witnessed the antics of his siblings. The next day Mikhael can be found outside Aubrey's house, expressing to Sunny how he's worried for her because she won't answer her door. Sunny and Kel go to look for Aubrey and find her. Later that day he can be found near his family's bakery. If Sunny interacts with him he'll say that he may have misjudged his families traditions and says he might go back to his families traditions and start making bread. In the good ending on moving day, Mikhael and the other Hooligans leave flowers in Sunny's hospital room wishing he has a safe recovery and that they hope to fight again soon.

Fanon

Sunbleached isn't very popular due to how it gets overshadowed by other Sunny ships, like Sunburn and Sunflower. Most people like it due to the fact of the dynamic that they have and the contrast in their personalities. Mikhael is a loud and showy kid who likes to be the center of attention. And Sunny is just a quiet kid who doesn't really say a lot. Most people ship it due to Mikhael's charm he used during his battle where he smiles seductivley at Sunny, causing his attack to fall. Most fans believe the reason his attack fell was because he was too busy looking st Mikhael's smile and blushing. It doesn't have that many works on Ao3 due to how unpopular it is. Nor does it have a lot of fanart. This ship is the most second popular Sunny ship from someone out of The Hooligans, the first is Aubrey. It's most likely people don't ship this because Sunny never directly interacts with Mikhael, excluding fighting him, like he does with the main characters. Which explains the reason why so many other Sunny ships overshadow this.

Fans say that Mikhael is the loud person in the relationship, but also very caring. They mostly see him as caring in this relationship because of how Kel says the other hooligans aren't as mean as they make themselves out to be. While Sunny appreciates how caring he is but silently shows it through physical affection. That's why most fans say they like the ship because of funny situations it can create. Loud x Quiet character ships are also popular.

The ship name most likely comes from Sunny's first name and how Mikhael's wig looks like a bleached color. Notably, Sunny is one of the few people who have actually seen Mikhael without his wig.
