Sunkissed is the poly ship between Sunny, Basil and Kel from the Omori fandom.

Sunny, Basil, and Kel are childhood friends and are shown to have a deep relationship with each other. Basil and Sunny are said to be best friends and partners in crime, while Sunny and Kel are next door neighbors and started their friend group. After Sunny staying indoors for four years, Kel is the one to get him to come out from his house, after which they begin to help Basil by saving his Photo Album.

In their early childhood, the group was almost always seen together. Whether that be while gardening, playing in the park, or simply hanging out with each other. The three are almost never separated. They have a rather cute dynamic. Kel is the energetic, extroverted person, while Basil and Sunny are rather drawn in on themselves, and seemingly in their own world. Kel definitely brings out the best in them, and it is clear that he cares deeply about his two friends.

When the game takes place, it is clear they don’t have as much of a bond as before, but they do still care for each other. Kel brings the two back together by getting Sunny out of his house, and helping Basil with the bullying issues. The tension is clearly there when they reunite, but Kel is there to help ease the tension. Kel is very persistent on making sure the two are around eachother, as he knows they have been best friends for many years. He seems unaware of the lingering tension between the two, but he seemingly ignores it, or just doesn’t notice.

Kel also makes sure that they go eat over at Basil’s house, not really giving Sunny or Basil a chance to deny. He knows the two need to fix the distance between them, and he definitely helps as much as he can. He strikes up conversations between the two, and gives them time to talk amongst themselves in many different scenarios. Slowly but surely, Kel mends their relationship little by little. Though.. there seems to be something he’s missing. There is something bigger going on between the two, that he isn’t able to help.

During two days left, the three are around each other a lot. Kel and Sunny both help save Basil from drowning in the lake after he’d been pushed. (With the help of Hero of course..) Both Kel and Sunny seem to have worry about Basil, and they make sure to get him in his house safely. They make sure that he is okay, and after that they leave his house after checking on him. Kel is really upset with Aubrey over the whole situation, because Aubrey could have possibly killed Basil cause Basil is unable to swim.

Sunkissed is often shipped by people that can't decide between Suntan and Sunflower, two of the most popular ships in the fandom. While not as popular as the other two ships, Cactiflower is also a reason Sunkissed is shipped. Aubrey is sometimes added to the ship since Sunburn is another popular ship, but also because of Baseball Bat and Photobomb. Sunburn, Baseball Bat and Photobomb are Sunkissed's main rivals while HeroMari and Kimbrey are normally shipped alongside Sunkissed.
