SurpriseShow is the non-binary ship between Caine and Zooble from the The Amazing Digital Circus fandom.

Canon

Zooble, next to Pomni, has spent the shortest time in Caine's circus. Since the Pilot, they've been avoiding Caine's many adventures, which ultimately concerns him. In the Pilot, Zooble is frustrated with the idea of an in-house adventure due to Pomni's new arrival. Caine reassures that it'll be an adventure that they don't have to participate in. In Candy Carrier Chaos!, He begins caring about Zooble's avoidance of his events. When they turn away in denial of participating in the candy land adventure, Caine tries to convince them to join to no avail.

It isn't until the third episode, The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor, that he begins to take action. He proposes a spooky haunted mansion venture, explaining he wanted it to be more mature for Zooble. When the circus squad leaves, Caine pulls Zooble aside from their hiding to conduct a therapy session with them. He explains that he didn't want "Bubble's feelings hurt" to cover himself, which Zooble doesn't fall for. Much to their annoyance, Zooble is forced to speak aloud their thoughts. They aren't willing to since they claimed they had told Caine many times before why they keep avoiding his adventures, but the former never listens or forgets.

Comically proving this statement, Caine showcases a doodle he drew on his notepad instead of listening to them. Despite Zooble's accusations against him, Caine continues to persist that he has great memory and nothing can escape it. As the therapy progresses, the two only grow more frustrated with each other. Finally, Zooble pours out their thoughts, clarifying that they are dissatisfied with their digital body, which is the cause of their constant avoidance of Caine's adventures. Caine summons a box filled with many parts to try to salvage their situation, but Zooble remains unsatisfied. Zooble eventually declares that nobody likes Caine's "stupid adventures", which causes the former to enter a mental breakdown since he believes it's the only thing he's good at making. The room around them begins glitching frequently in response to his breakdown. Zooble begins to panic and says, "Who's therapy session is this?" He eventually snaps out of it and continues the session.

When the group returns, it's seen that their roles have swapped and Zooble is giving Caine a therapy session instead. Realizing the gang has returned, Caine tells Zooble to pretend they've never had this session.

Fanon

SurpriseShow isn't widely acknowledged within the fandom, but Caine's concern for Zooble could be a main factor for their pairing. They currently have six romantic works on AO3 and nine platonic works.
