Swocket is the non-binary ship between Rocket and Sword from the PHIGHTING! fandom.
Canon[]
Sword and Rocket are both playable characters from the game PHIGHTING! Released in the same version, that being Playtest 1, they are both in the pool of the earliest playable characters. Sword is a melee phighter, characterized by his simple attacks and overall beginner-friendly build, while Rocket is a ranged phighter with attacks that give him good damage and mobility, but can harm himself if he is not careful.
In lore, Sword and Rocket were introduced to each other through Venomshank and Zuka. Rocket was considered angry and violent, with Sword being the patient one, however Rocket has since cooled down. They are best friends who have made a lot of move combinations together. Rocket and Sword also talk to each other quite often.[1]
In game, the two have quite a lot of dialogue between the two which show their close friendship. Some of their dialogues have the two tease each other, like when Rocket assists Sword by asking him about kill stealing. Other dialogues like to reference their move combinations and their relationship with Zuka.
There are two in-game "references" to Swocket that are official, but not canon to the story or their relationship. One of these is a house located beneath the lobby (only accessible with the right abilities) that contains several memes, as well as two crude models of Sword and Rocket facing each other. Another is a pair of drawings on the map BOGIO Skatepark located on opposite sides of the same wall. One features Rocket, staring off to the side and blushing with hearts around him, and the other is the same, just with Sword instead.

Fanon[]
Swocket is by far one of the most popular yet fan favorite ship in the PHIGHTING! fandom, simply because of how close they are compared to many other relationships within the game. Their close relationship with each other by being best friends and their opposing gears in terms of range are one of the few reasons why people ship them. Fan works like to explore how the two exactly met each other and how they have come to become best friends. In fan works it is also common to see Zuka be a father to both of them.
It is common to see other depictions of them in their other skins in fan content, Stargazer Rocket and Sunburst Sword. This is due to the fact that they are polar opposites in their appearances and what they represent. It might also be because of their colour palettes complimenting each other nicely and how both are following the same theme.
It is commonly shipped alongside Skateshot, Medhammer and Subkit. Its only rivals could be Boomsword and Rocketboard. It is the second most written ship in the PHIGHTING! fandom having 500+ works on AO3.
