Swordka is the cargo ship between Sokka and his sword from the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom.
Canon[]
Sokka forged his sword while training under master Piandao. He had previous purchased another sword at a weapons shop and was told about the master Piandao, who rarely accepted students, and was accepted. One of Piandao's tasks was to have Sokka forge a sword out of whatever material he chooses, and he asked if he could bring in his own material. Sokka recalled a meteorite that had fallen at night a few days ago and had the rest of Team Avatar bring it to his estate. Sokka then used most of the meteorite to forge a sword made out of it.
Sokka showed a great amount of skill with his sword after just a few days of training. After his training, Sokka began to use the sword in combat, and also used it for mundane tasks such as using it to haul supplies or using the edge of the scabbard to poke people with it. Toph later used Sokka's sword as a collateral in one of her scams without his permission and he was fearful of losing it. Sokka later used his sword during the invasion on the Day of Black Sun and against Zuko in a friendly duel after the latter joined Team Avatar.
Sokka later lost his sword in the final battle during Sozin's Comet. He and Toph were hanging onto the edge of an airship for their lives, and Sokka was forced to throw his sword to stop some Fire Nation soldeirs from catching up to them. In the years following the war, Sokka was seen using a new sword that was identical in appearance. It is unknown if that is a new sword or the same one that he lost at the end of the war.

Fanon[]
Swordka is one of the two most popular cargo ships involving Sokka along with Boomerokka. Fans supported the sword as a part of his new identity in Book Three: Fire, as he even identified himself as the sword user of Team Avatar. Others feel that Sokka was more associated with his boomerang and did not like that he began to start using another weapon, but others noted that he still used his boomerang as well. Fans were saddened when Sokka lost his sword in the finale and hoped that he could get it back. Swordka most commonly rivals the Boomerokka pairing.
