Taco Bell is the femslash ship between Taco and Bell from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
After landing back on Earth, Taco tries to figure out where she is so she can pass the challenge's Twinkle of Contagion from the moon. She finds Bell and after an exchange, Taco asks her if the moon's beautiful tonight. Bell interprets it as Taco flirting with her and begins stuttering as she tries to respond. After being told to actually look at the moon, Bell does so and immediately catches the twinkle to Taco's success. Bell later apologizes to her team for getting the twinkle very close towards the end of the challenge.
Both Bell and Taco speak up about Loser's death to Donut, the former saying that everything they love is being taken and destroyed. Taco believes that Loser is dead but is told otherwise by Donut, who then throws the Liar Ball that Loser's in right on her. She is crushed which causes Bell to scream.
Many challenges later when Taco is recovered, she confronts Bell one night with the intent to resolve their issues. Bell groans upon hearing her, still believing that Taco is trying to use her for her own gain once more. Calling back to when Bell got the twinkle from her, Taco tries to stress she's only making conversation which Bell is skeptical of. Taco tries to apologize to Bell but is promptly cut off by her. She scolds Taco for allowing her to paint a bad reputation to her in the first place, thinking there's a possibility that Taco's using her at that moment for her advantage in the competition. Bell leaves after telling Taco that she doesn't trust her anymore and likely never will again.
The Official Character Guide book mentions Taco as one of Bell's close friends.
Fanon[]
Taco Bell is a popular ship in the Battle for Dream Island fandom especially during the run of the fourth season. The ship sailed upon their first interaction where Bell gets flustered over what she percieves as Taco flirting with her. Despite being a ruse, the rare instance of a moment like this in the show immediately caught the attention of the fandom. The ship gained traction on Tumblr, with jokes and callbacks commonly being made on what they saw as implied romance. The Taco Bell restaurant is often a common theme for the ship, being the namesake of the ship name as well as the two characters being a play on the name when put together. Even to this day, the ship remains fairly popular for both Taco and Bell. Rivals for the two include Tacoblock (Taco x Blocky), Tacobook (Taco x Book), and Bellraser (Bell x Eraser).
