TakaSato is the het ship between Wataru Takagi and Miwako Sato from the Detective Conan fandom.

Chapters 208-210
Takagi is interviewing the Detective Boys and Professor Agasa as witnesses to a case. The Detective Boys notice that one of his shirt buttons is about to fall off, the scruff is also dirty, and the shirt is full of wrinkles. Ayumi asks if he has a girlfriend, but Takagi blushes and says he has a person he likes. Sato arrives and the kids mistake her for his girlfriend. Sato corrects them by revealing that she’s a policewoman. Takagi recalls Yumi telling him that she got Sato drunk and reveals that Sato has someone she likes in her own division. Yumi had teased Takagi that it might be him, causing him to blush.
When Shiratori arrives at the crime scene and reveals he has been promoted to inspector, Sato jokingly asks if he will add her to his list of wife candidates. Takagi is worried that the one Sato likes in their division is Shiratori. After the case is solved, Sato declines Shiratori’s dinner invite and instead invites Takagi to eat ramen later.
Chapters 231-233
Sato instructs Takagi to chase after the real culprit and leave her with the suspect she is handcuffed to. Takagi is hesitant but Sato tells him that she believes in him and that he should believe in his own strength. After Takagi and the Detective Boys leave, the suspect tells Sato that Takagi didn’t really look reliable. Sato says that Takagi is good natured and often makes mistakes and annoys her, but if it’s an important job, he does it seriously.
After the case is resolved, Takagi asks Sato if she likes Inspector Megure, thinking that she has a crush on him. Sato says that Inspector Megure is like a father to her. Takagi is relieved.
Chapters 267-269
Sato says that if someone solves the mystery and catches “Shushirou” who killed her father, she’d return the favor by obliging whatever they asked of her. Takagi and Shiratori both imagine themselves marrying Sato. When Shiratori and Takagi have to go catch a criminal, Takagi realizes he left his handcuffs at his desk. Sato gives her his handcuffs and says they’re a memento of her dad’s since she broke hers in the Higashida Case. She says they also double as a charm.
She becomes extremely worried when Takagi is attacked and kidnapped by the person who caused Sato’s father’s death. He is left handcuffed and the arsonist from whom he and Shiratori were chasing down sets the building ablaze. He ended up pulling off the bars he was handcuffed to in order to escape. Sato asks why he didn’t use his gun to shoot the handcuffs, but the Detective Boys reveal that he didn’t want to destroy her father’s memento.
Sato invites Takagi to the front of the martial arts stadium next Saturday. Takagi agrees and thinks it might be a date. When Sato arrives, she tells Takagi that it’s a date. However, it’s revealed that Sato is just using it as a cover to surveil a suspect’s sister in the area.
Chapters 296-298
Sato finds out that Takagi has tickets to the Sanada Kazumi Magic Illusion show and Sato asks if he’s interested in magic shows. Takagi denies it and says Yumi invited him since she had an extra ticket, but he told her that he wasn’t interested. Sato suggests that he go and enjoy himself and if he figures out his tricks, he should let her know. Takagi recalls how Yumi had suggested to tell Sato that she had asked him out on a date and to determine if he has a chance with her based on her facial expression. Takagi thinks that based on her reaction, Sato doesn’t have any feelings for him.
After the case is resolved, Sato and Takagi’s salaries get cut. Yumi mentions that if she ever gets fired, there’s always the runaway path to marriage. Sato says she doesn’t need to marry and that she’s going to work hard for the sake of peace and love. Yumi mentions that if Takagi doesn’t get better, he’s going to be stuck at his rank until he retires. Sato suddenly asks Yumi if she likes Takagi. When Yumi denies any feelings, Sato scolds her because Takagi was panicking about how he got a ticket from her. She says Yumi should stop fooling around with Takagi and find a match instead. Yumi is happy that Sato fell for her love ticket plan.
Chapters 328-330
Yumi tells Ran, Sonoko, and Conna that Sato is meeting up with a marriage candidate. She says that she has a plan for Takagi to take her away for a case when the time comes. She’ll send him a message to his phone that Sato is in trouble and to rescue her from Miai Hall, Mintaorou using a case as an excuse. Yumi jokes that Takagi might confess to her in the spur of the moment. Shiratori knows about the plan and makes a bet with Sato that if Takagi doesn’t come to their location by sunset, Sato will marry him. Sato agrees.
Takagi calls Sato saying that he has caught the shoplifter. Sato orders him to come over to her location right now. Takagi asks her why she chose him and why she believed in him despite such a big gamble. Sato tells him that she is sure that he’d come. However, the shoplifter escapes and runs away. Sato asks him who is more important to him, her or the shoplifter, and then shouts at him to chase the shoplifter before ending the call.
Shiratori asks her if it really is alright because if he goes after the suspect, he won’t get there in time. Sato accepts that it was fated to end up like this and that she’s probably being punished for using him as part of the bet. With Conan and Araide’s help, Takagi tricks them into believing that he arrived before sunset.
Chapters 366-368
Sato, disguised, scolds Genta and Mitsuhiko for climbing on top of a mailbox to get a better view of the parade. She reveals herself and Yumi teases her that she’s on a date with Takagi, mentioning that she saw Takagi testing wig disguises in the bathroom. Shiratori, also disguised, arrives and reveals that police headquarters received threatening fax messages.
Shiratori and Yumi also mention that Sato and Takagi’s date will probably be next week Sunday. Yumi reveals that everyone knows that Takagi and Sato are going to the new Tropical Marine Land because he asked for a vacation day on Sato’s day off. Yumi also warns that other officers asked for a vacation on the same date, with Shiratori adding that several of them leased out binoculars and transmission equipment. Sato claims that she’s only going to thank Takagi for helping her out the other day and that it’s not a date.
After an explosion destroys Takagi’s car and almost kills him, Sato is so worried about him that she tries to lift the burning car to get him out, not realizing that Takagi wasn’t in the car. Takagi is worried about the burn on Sato’s palm, but she runs off crying, still thinking about Matsuda. After the case is resolved, Sato apologizes to Takagi for slapping him and when Takagi grabs her bandages palm, both of them quickly pull apart while blushing.
Sato wants to cancel their upcoming date. She claims that she is cursed because all the people she holds dear die off. Takagi grabs her hands and wants to promise that he will stay by her side, but chickens out at the last minute. Instead, he tells her that they don’t suit each other to begin with. Sato says there are prettier girls out there more suited for him.

Episode 425
When on a stakeout mission, Takagi blows his breath on a window glass and writes “Miwako Takagi”, which is what Sato’s name would be if they were married.
Movie 4: Captured in Her Eyes
After Ran and Sato are attacked by the murderer, Sato is badly wounded. Takagi immediately rushes over to Sato and holds her in his arms. While on duty as a guard for Ran, Takagi freezes in shock when he remembers holding the wounded Sato. At the end of the film, Takagi cries tears of joy after he finds out Sato is going to be alright.

While not the most popular relationship in the series, TakaSato is mostly agreed upon from fans to be the best and most healthy canon relationship from the series. Takagi and Sato's natural growth and development in their own focused chapters led to fans appreciate them more compared to other couples from the series. It helps that they would get focus on their relationship in various cases dedicated to them and them starting to be open up to and care about each other. It's also considered a breath of fresh air from fans who want couples that don't feel forced or another "childhood friends to lovers" trope.
The ship has over 150 works in the romantic tag on AO3, which is the most written ship for both characters.
