Takushion is the slash ship between Takumi Sumino and Shion from The Hundred Line fandom.
Canon[]
A major similarity between Takumi and Shion is their selflessness and prioritization of their friends. Takumi fought tirelessly and even redid months of war to protect his friends, and Shion's ultimate goal was to befriend everyone and argue, fight, and live with them like a normal person. Both have made sacrifices time and time again for those they care about, including for each other. Another similarity they share is that they were both used solely to fight since birth, with Shion having been kidnapped as a newborn and Takumi having been created in a lab with the help of Shion's DNA. This also means that Shion was the reason Takumi even existed to begin with.
Route 0[]
The premise of The Hundred Line is Takumi's fighting to defend what's in the Defense Room: Shion himself. He fought battle after battle, risking his life to protect him.
Though Shion often expressed his desire to befriend everyone, he and Takumi had always been the closest. Takumi was the first to ever notice and attempt to communicate with him. When he was known as the Ghost Boy, he repeatedly spoke to Takumi but unfortunately couldn't be heard. Shion later said that this was when he felt his first real emotion: curiosity to get a look at him.
Shion had saved Takumi multiple times. Once, during the auditory hallucination attack, he reminded Takumi of his purpose and what he'd ought to do, even before they were able to speak to each other normally. But after Takumi's hemoanima became stronger, the two became more connected than ever. Takumi's harnessing equal power had stimulated Shion's hemoanima/cryptoglobin and allowed them to verbally communicate through a sort of shared consciousness. In other words, Takumi simply being next to Shion made Shion stronger. This change made way for Shion to help Takumi out yet again by offering him a major choice: the option to turn back time to save his friends. Regardless of his decision, Shion continually trusted and believed in him and guided him while also letting him choose what he thought was the correct path to take. No matter what Takumi chose, Shion wished for the best outcome.
After Route 0[]
Since he changed Takumi's future by offering the choice to turn back time, Takumi in turn said he'd like to change Shion's future as well. He promised to give Shion a name when he had none and proposed that they could come up with one together, helping him become more of an individual person than a weapon. This was Takumi's way of repaying his debt for all that Shion had done for him before.
The two made sacrifices for each other. In the Serial Battles Route, Shion agreed not to join Takumi's team and stick to fueling the missiles despite his wishes because of what Takumi wanted. On the other hand, in a complementary route, Shion accepted Takumi's invitation to the Special Defense Unit despite the risk of losing the entire war just because Shion wanted to be friends with everyone, starting with Takumi. Takumi also specifically introduced him as "the person who's helped us out whenever we were in trouble." Ending 001 comes after the choice to accept Shion as part of the team, where he used himself as the "The Secret Weapon" to help them win the final battle.
Coming of Age[]
After Takumi woke up, Shion visited his room to check on him on Day 31. He told him that when he heard the news that Takumi was comatose, he was so scared and powerless that he decided to sleep through everything. Takumi said that Shion was supposed to be there to cheer him and helped him relieve his guilt by making a promise that Shion would help the group the next time they needed it, which cheered Shion up instead. He also said that he'd be able to fight with confidence with Shion's having their backs. Takumi told Shion that he was glad he came to see him, and he replied: "In that case... I'm happy too."
Delivering on his promise, Shion later saved the team in battle. Takumi asked everyone to consider letting Shion become a real member. Shion declined because of fear of messing up the mission, but Takumi firmly declared that he was asking what Shion wanted to do, not what was good for the mission. He paraphrased one of Shion's lines from the initial 100 days back to him ("I want us to laugh, and talk, and argue sometimes") and said he wanted to have a normal adolescence together with him. With Shion's positive reply, Takumi had helped him discover his own true feelings. Shortly after, Hiruko teased Takumi about saying he "wanted to spend [his] youth with him", causing him to blush, and said that she didn't hate "passionate young men living their lives together." Afterward, the team came together to name Shion as Takumi had previously promised to do, though he uniquely ended up with the name FB in this route.
On Day 54, the boys discussed who they had crushes on. When Shion was asked who he liked, he said he wasn't sure that he had the feelings the rest of the group did, but if the warm feelings in his chest were what it meant to like someone, then he felt that way about the entire group. Takumi responded that the party was worth having just to hear that.
On Day 62, Shion offered his life to save Nozomi, but Takumi told him to spend some time talking and wandering the school before he could be sure of his decision. Thanks to the time Takumi gave him, Shion said he had no regrets in his choice to do so, just like how he'd always said he wanted to live without regrets. While transferring his power to Nozomi, he talked about how the 60 days he and Takumi had spent together were his whole life and that he'd never forget it. Takumi then profusely apologized for making the wrong choice and having to lose him, but Shion responded by saying that it was the right choice if he got to die so glad that he was born. He had Takumi promise to save everyone for him and thanked him for giving him something to live for.
During the final battle with V'exhness, Shion saved Takumi even after his death by having given him a badge infused with his power a while before. This led Takumi to see hemoanima as a power that could be used to save, not just to harm. He also thought about how he owed Shion.

- Comedy Route
- In one of the branches, after a while of Takumi not speaking to him, Shion sulked in Takumi's room on the floor with his arms wrapped around his knees. He expressed jealousy over Takumi spending time with everyone else, leading Takumi to wonder when he turned into a "needy girlfriend".
- Box of Calamity Route
- Shion researched curses to help vanquish a shadowy figure Takumi saw, which ended up being a manifestation of his own guilt. He spent several days in the Library looking for information. One day, he, Takumi, and Gaku simply spent the entire day looking through countless documents. On a different day, Takumi alone spent most of a nice, quiet day chatting with Shion and cleaning up the library with him. Though Shion didn't know if his work would help out, he was glad that it made Takumi seem happier. "And if you're happy, I'm happy."
- Coming of Age Route
- To let Shion finally leave the school for the first time since he was born, Takumi helped gather the right materials to make a device that could transport his real body.
- Retsnom Route
- At the beginning of the route, Takumi enlists Shion's help and introduces him to Darumi, as they are looking for ways to revive their dead friends.
- Near the end, when Takumi decides to not let Retsnomified Darumi consume him, Shion lends Takumi his powers in order to free Darumi from her suffering, nearly killing himself in the process due to the Undying Flames scorching half of his body.

Takushion is relatively rare because it's overshadowed by many more popular ships, such as Takumi's ships with Eito or Nozomi and Shion's ship with Tsubasa. It can also be controversial due to Takumi being a clone of Shion as is the case with all other Special Defense Unit ships.
