Team Bandicoot is the friendship between Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot and Crunch Bandicoot from the Crash Bandicoot fandom.

Canon

For most of the franchise's early years, it was simply a family friendship between Crash and Coco. In Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, a new character was introduced called Crunch Bandicoot. For much of the game, Crunch was an enemy controlled by Cortex intended to destroy Crash. However, by the end, he is freed from Cortex's control and joins the bandicoot siblings back home. Since then, Crunch has been a part of what has now become known as Team Bandicoot.

The name Team Bandicoot originates from Crash Nitro Kart, where the team name for Crash, Coco and Crunch in Adventure Mode is called such. In this game, the bandicoots are relaxing while Coco works on a new kart for racing when they are suddenly abducted by Emperor Velo XXVII. Along with Team Cortex, Team Bandicoot are forced to race on Velo's Galactic Circuit for their freedom. Throughout the game, they interact with Velo's Champions, and usually have their own interactions following the races that show more of their relationship, including Coco and Crunch frowning upon Crash when his gift to Krunk causes problems. At the end of the game, after defeating Velo in a race, they are sent back home for a chance to relax.

While Team Bandicoot don't appear as a team again, they are shown all together in Crash Tag Team Racing, Crash of the Titans, and Crash: Mind Over Mutant. In the case of the former, they are on friendly terms with the park owner Von Clutch and his hired racer, Pasadena. More of their relationship between each other is shown in this game as well, such as Crunch being a parental figure that spouts off short pieces of advice and Coco repeatedly asking her brother for help. Crash: Mind Over Mutant expands up on this by showing that Coco doesn't like to take orders from Crunch. Regardless, however, there is no love lost between the Team Bandicoot.

Fanon

Since Crunch Bandicoot's inclusion in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Team Bandicoot has become a popular friendship in the Crash Bandicoot fandom. Most fans also like to include Aku Aku into the group as he is an ally and close friend of Crash Bandicoot. It is also common for fans to group Tawna into Team Bandicoot as well. This is likely due to the popularity of the Crawna ship and/or how she is the only other main character that is a bandicoot. As Tawna has never met Crunch in any canon sense, all interactions between them in fanon are transparent and up to interpretation.
