Team Trollhunters is the friendship between Jim Lake, Claire Nuñez, Toby Domzalski, Blinky Galadrigal, and AAARRRGGHH!!!!!! from the Tales of Arcadia fandom.

Part 1[]
While Claire Nuñez, Jim Lake, and Toby Domzalski were ordinary teenage humans from the surface lands, Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!! were trolls who came from Heartstone Trollmarket. Jim and Toby were initially terrified of the trolls when they first met them but soon saw them as friends. Claire was initially unaware of the events unfolding in Arcadia Oaks and therefore hadn't met Blinky and AAAARRRGGHH!!! yet. The team formed during the second battle of Killahead Bridge at the local museum when Jim proclaimed his team as Trollhunters. Though Claire was absent from the first battle, she was involved in the second part.
"Return of the Trollhunter"
Jim and Toby take Claire to Trollmarket for the first time and she is introduced to Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!!, who take an immediate liking to her. As Toby and AAARRRGGHH!!! show Claire around Trollmarket, Blinky and Jim fix his Vespa, where Blinky confesses that he knows that Jim has romantic feelings for Claire and that he intends to save Claire's brother. He revealed that he and AAARRRGGHH!!! discussed it and they both agreed to help Jim rescue Enrique because if the boy is important to Jim, then Claire's brother is important to them all. The Forge goes haywire and Bagdwella rushes off to warn Jim and Blinky that their teammates are in danger. Though they manage to turn off the Hero's Forge, Jim is summoned by the Trollhunters of the past.
In The Void, Jim learns that Kanjigar was the one who set off the Hero's Forge and he tells Jim that they are all aware of his plans to rescue Claire's brother from the Darklands. Kanjigar also tells Jim that he risks putting his friends in danger through personal loyalty and attachments, which is why he must put some distance between himself and Draal, his son. The past Trollhunters tells Jim that if he and his friends are going to succeed in saving Enrique, then his team will have to kill Gunmar by finding all The Triumbric stones that will unlock the Eclipse Blade, as Daylight will not be enough to kill the evil troll, King. Jim returns to the world of the living and informs Claire Toby, Blinky, AAARRRGGHH!!!, and Draal of the task that lies before them. When a power-hungry Strickler returns to Arcadia, he deploys the assassin, Angor Rot, to kill the Trollhunters and prevent them from stopping his plans for world domination. Despite the odds, AAARRRGGHH!!!, Blinky, Jim, and Toby dedicated themselves to saving Claire's brother from the Darklands.
SOMETHING ROTTEN THIS WAY COMES
In the Season 1 finale, Toby, Claire, Jim, AAARRRGGHH!!! and Blinky band Trollmarket together when Angor is planning to attack. Strickler provides Jim with instructions on how he can use Angor's eye to counteract his magic and the final Triumbric Stone, Gunmar's eye. The group fights valiantly. However, during the battle Angor kills AAARRRGGHH!!! who gives his life to protect his friends; his death is avenged by Toby and Jim. This motivates Jim to enter the Darklands by himself, so he doesn't lose anyone else.
Part 2[]
With Killahead bridge destroyed by Usurna's Krubera warriors, Claire, Toby and Blinky realize that AAARRRGGHH!!! is the key to them saving Jim from the Darklands when the Amulet of Daylight lands on Aaarrrgghh!!!'s chest. During his time in the Darklands, Jim never gives up hope that his friends will be able to save him when Gumm-Gumm soldiers capture him. After acquiring the pieces of Killahead Bridge, they ressemble it in the woods. The trio and Not-Enrique infiltrate the Janus Order, but they are all captured by Otto Scaarbach. He offers them a trade: the cure for Creeper's Sun in exchange with Vendel's staff. After Claire, Toby and Blinky bring Aaarrrgghh!!! back to life, Kanjigar possesses Aaarrgghh!!! because he walked a line between life and death. Using AAARRRGGHH!!! as a vessel, Kanjigar can activate the Bridge through use of his amulet. Kanjigar tells the group that Jim works better with a team.
Part 3[]
THE ETERNAL KNIGHT
During the Eternal Night, the group came together and saw to the end of Gunmar, whom Jim killed to avenge their fallen friend, Draal, and finally defeated Morgana for the first time when Claire and Toby trapped her in the Shadow Realm. At the end of the series, Blinky, Jim, and Claire departed for Hoboken, New Jersey in search of a new Hearthstone while AAARRRGGHH!!! and Toby remained behind in Arcadia.

D'AJA VU
Part 1 of 3Below takes place during the third season of Trollhunters.
Team Trollhunters helps the Tarron children and Varvatos Vex stop a trickster troll, Porgon the Lesser from using Akiridion tech and forcing people to relive a time loop. However, Jim and Aja discover his Amulet and her Serrator shields them from the blast of troll magic, thus preserving their memories so they can find a way to stop the time loop and get the Dekyon Charger away from Porgon. Despite a rocky start, Jim and Ajay introduce their respective groups to each other and they manage to preserve their friends' memories. After planting explosive rocks around the school science fair, Aja and Krel revealed their true nature to Porgon and Varvatos blasted the charger out of Porgon's hand. Jim killed Porgon the first time, but their actions in stopping the time loop caused the Trollhunters and Royals to expose their true nature to all of Arcadia at the planetarium during the school science fair. Krell decided to set the Charger on its self-destruction the morning Porgon found it. This means that everyone would forget the time loop and never become friends. However, Blinky swore that they may forget but their true friendships can transcend through time and space, proving fate will bring them together again one day.
In Part 2, Toby and AAARRRGGHH!!!!!! remained behind in Arcadia Oaks and protected the town in Blinky, Claire and Jim's absence.

Team Trollhunters are one of the main characters in the Tales of Arcadia franchise. The team’s name comes from the fact that Jim has decided to share the role of a Trollhunter with all his friends. As both Toby and Jim view AAARRRGGHH!!!!!! and Blinky as their respective fatherly figures, the two trolls are often treated as the parents of the team, from their ship, Troll Dads. As such, the ship can be treated like a "Found Family" trope. Considering the overall negative response to the film, people will write Fix-Its, where Jim sometimes restores his friends' memories of the previous timeline with each other and they work together to defeat the Arcane Order.
