TebaLink is the friend ship between Link and Teba from the The Legend of Zelda fandom.

Canon[]

Breath of the Wild[]

After failing to defeat Vah Medoh, Teba took an injured Harth back to Rito Village and returned to the Flight Range to prepare to take it on again. His wife, Saki guides Link to the Flight Range once she opens up about her worries and he takes the route to the area. Teba sees Link and tells him that he should go. Link speaks with him that he wanted to help out, which Teba is dismissive of and becomes progressively annoyed that Link is wanting to help him and is not willing to return to the village until Vah Medoh is stopped. He eventually sees that Link is serious and decides to test his aerial combat by shooting the targets within three minutes to ensure that he can fare well against Vah Medoh. Once Link is able to pass the test, Teba will relax, and he will give instructions on taking out the cannons and disabling the barrier; he will also add that he will need warmer gear as it will be extremely cold at a high altitude and provides a Falcon Bow for a good-ranged weapon. He takes Link to the skies and will once again give instructions on dealing with Vah Medoh's cannons. With that, Link uses his paraglider to catch the winds to stay airborn while shooting the cannons aiming at Teba. After that, Teba's leg is injured, and he tells Link that he needs to bail out and tend to while while he heads to Medoh and wishes him luck. If Link leaves Vah Medoh without completing it, Teba will be at the Flight Range and has one of the very few incidences of swearing when spoken to. Once Link is able to clear Vah Medoh, Saki would treat his injury to which he can stand, and he is grateful to Link for his help in appeasing Vah Medoh and will bring his son to the Flight Range.

Age of Calamity[]

Cutscenewise, Teba's interaction with Link is limited, but if Link is the one who enters Vah Medoh to help him and Revali defeat Windblight Ganon, he will tell him that he is happy to fight alongside him again. They still do interact through battle dialogue though.

Tears of the Kingdom[]

With the Upheaval and an ongoing severe blizzard affecting the village, Teba and Saki end up dealing the older rebellious Tulin, who insisted on doing things on his own when they try to convince him that he needs to work with others. They meet with Link again and while they are pleased to see him, Tulin flies out to find the source of the blizzard despite his objections and they tell Link to go after Tulin to ensure he isn't doing anything that would threaten his life. After Colgera is defeated and Tulin awakening as the new sage of wind, Teba can be seen witnessing all the snow melt before his eyes and the winds calming down. After Link and Tulin return, Teba bestows the latter the Great Eagle Bow in recognition of his heroism. However, Teba is not used to going anywhere without a bow and requests Link the materials to create a Great Eagle Bow for both him as well as himself.

Fanon[]

TebaLink is a common ship among the fans which is often shown in both fan art and fanfics. Fans also appreciate how he manages to make a good contrast with Revali with how they view Link overall, with Revali typically looking down on him at first while Teba, despite his suspicions with him at first, started to grow on him quickly once he proves that he can accomplish a feat in the air despite his lack of wings. Link and Teba are very largely shipped as friends as they find any romantic ships between them to be very questionable regarding the large age gap between them. There were some fans who were disappointed in how Teba was underutilized in Tears of the Kingdom considering he would have played a more important role in some way outside of just being the new village elder, in spite of Tulin's expanded role. Their teamwork in appeasing Vah Medoh is considered to be awesome by fans due to flying in the air with epic battle music playing.
