Tebali is the friend ship between Revali and Teba from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Revali and Teba never properly meet due to them being born in different time periods but what is known is that Teba and the other warriors all look up to Revali due to his skills and general heroism that he is to them, and they aspire to be like him, and their sons were trained in the ways of a warrior.
Age of Calamity[]
When Revali finds himself nearing death during a brutal battle against Windblight Ganon, Terrako's Gate of Time summons Teba from the future, who immediately fires arrows which hits Windblights cannons to prevent it from using them to shoot Revali, allowing the Rito warrior to recover and get some payback for attacking him. With extra help Revali is able to last much longer up until his friends arrive to save him by forcing Windblight Ganon to flee for a time-being. Urbosa and Riju catch up and they take a moment to thank Link and Princess Zelda for their help. Once Revali exhibits gratitude in a begrudging way, Teba is shocked to see how abrasive Revali is and almost makes a comment on it before Urbosa cuts him off before he said anything unintentionally hurtful about him before asking Zelda about the fate of Hyrule Castle. Regardless, Revali and Teba team up to free western Hyrule of the monsters and Guardians invading the area. Teba saves Revali from the Guardian Skywatchers and Revali returns the favor by shooting Bomb Arrows at Teba's pursuers which Teba notes that he is indeed the Champion of the Rito. Teba is often the one looking out for any danger while Revali handles numerous enemies, and he is the one who catches sight of Windblight Ganon and warns Revali of it ahead of time. When Revali asks about the Flight Range, Teba tells him that it has been well taken care of and he takes his son there every day, which relieves Revali that he is still looked up to and that no one has broken any of his records yet. Windblight Ganon continues to cause them grief by attacking and when they pack a wallop against it, it often flees, up until they finally have enough and finally managed to destroy it.
Later, Revali noticed a small Rito child who looks a lot like Teba, but he ended up losing sight of him. Worried, Revali tells Teba about the child, which has Teba fearing for the boy's safety and pleads with him to take him along to find him. Revali is skeptical of Teba's agitation but brings him along anyway. Teba asks for the description of the missing child and Revali states that he has the same white feathers and his face looking like him. They continue to search up until they eventually find the boy, whom Teba recognized as his only son, Tulin who somehow ended up in Revali's era. They meet with Revali, whom Tulin mistakes him for another Rito warrior who is skilled like Revali is, but the shocked Revali corrects him that he is Revali. Teba introduces Tulin as his son to Revali, which the latter figures that they both traveled back in time. Tulin continues to praise Revali's fighting prowess which Revali learns that he is still worshipped after a century. When they make it to their intended destination which is a supposed dead end, Revali becomes frustrated that they should have consulted help from the Koroks, though Tulin, who was taken in by the Koroks and learned many things from them pointed out that the wind blowing from the stumps that reveal that the walls are false which reveal the way. This allows them to escape which Teba thanks Revali for his help while the latter tells him to stop with the over-the-top humility though he did get some training in. Once they escaped, Teba tells Tulin to thank Revali since he saved him. Once Tulin does with Revali complimenting him and Tulin getting all happy with him training to be like him and wanting to master the Great Eagle Bow. Revali tells him that he could have been killed by the monsters, but he was still happy and adds that it won't be long before he's the master of the wind like him. Teba agrees though he has to surpass his father first which Tulin imitates Revali making Teba laugh before stopping himself. Revali acts insulted, before he bursts out laughing with Teba and Tulin following along. Tulin attempts his own version of Revali's Gale, but he ends up falling to the ground, which Teba walks over to him as Revali reminds him that he still has a lot of progress to make.
Revali and Teba team up to assist in helping the soldiers at Akkala Citadel fight off Guardians, they also help Urbosa and Riju wipe out the reinforcements. Later, Purah summons a unified army with Revali stating that it's their turn to flaunt their power with all its splendor which Teba tells him to make his people proud. The Champions work together to take back Hyrule Castle and eventually free it from Astor and Calamity Ganon's control once and for all. As Teba is sent back to his own time with Yunobo, adult Sidon, and Riju, he tells Revali that it was enlightening to see the face behind the Champion. During the secret DLC ending, Teba, Tulin, and Revali relax at the Flight Range, with Tulin resting on Revali's lap and the latter stopping the blanket from blowing away, to Teba's amusement and are later seen at Hyrule Castle with the other Champions and their future counterparts as Terrako entertains them.
Fanon[]
Tebali is an uncommon ship among the fanbase though its fan fics as well as fan art do exist among them. The fanfics on their friendship tend to be much more common than the romantic ships between them, mainly due to the fact that Teba is already married along with him having a child, which makes it more difficult to ship him with anyone else romantically, though some fans have found ways to make it work. Their comraderie is very much praised due to their chemistry and they are each devoted to saving all of Hyrule from the tyranny of Calamity Ganon and how their personalities complement each other as do the other Champions and their descendants. This also gets even more praise with the Guardian of Remembrance DLC Pack 2 where they work together to save Tulin from the monsters that wish him harm and due to this scene, fans see Revali as something of a second father-figure to Tulin, even when they know that Tulin is very much on good terms with his biological father. Even when Teba is taken aback by Revali's behavior towards Link, he still respects Revali and seeing him interact with his son helped him understand that Revali is like everyone else with his good and bad sides, someone who is exceptionally skilled but has compelling character flaws that he is working through.
