Tebalin is the family ship between Teba and Tulin from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Breath of the Wild[]
Saki, Teba, and Tulin have lived very peaceful lives in Rito Village, with Teba wanting to raise Tulin to end up becoming like the legendary warrior, Revali. It wasn't until the village came under attack by the corrupted Divine Beast Vah Medoh which shoots at any Rito that flies, causing them to live in fear for their lives as they are forced to fly lower or even walk instead of flying at their preferred altitude. This causes Teba to spend less time with the family, often at the Flight Range where he prepares for an attack. One of his attempts fell short after Harth is injured. When Link speaks with Tulin after starting the main quest, Tulin often hopes that his father returns home so he can have fun at the Flight Range. He always worries for his father's safety as shown when he mutters about him in his sleep. Once Vah Medoh is appeased, Tulin was concerned about Teba when his leg was injured, but it was patched up to which he can walk again. Teba will take Tulin to the Flight Range where they remain for the rest of the game.
Age of Calamity[]
After Revali reveals that Tulin is in Korok Forest and went missing soon after, Teba becomes worried due to believing that the child is his son and pleads with him to let him tag along to find him. Revali is dubious of his state but agrees to allow him to join him. Teba often asks Revali questions about the description of the child which Revali confirms his suspicions about the boy being his son when he is described as having the same white colored feathers and similar face as him. Once Tulin is found, Teba will be surprised on how he got here, though Tulin was surprised himself how he ended up in Revali's era. Teba refuses to leave Tulin all alone in the forest full of monsters, but a Rito Captain takes up the offer to protect him. He introduces Tulin to Revali, and later asks Tulin if he is harmed and Tulin explained that he wasn't since he was under the care of "tiny creatures" who brought him to a safe place from the monsters. After escaping, Teba tells Tulin to thank Revali for saving his life and during the conversation between Revali and Tulin, Teba agrees that he will one day become the master of the wind, but he would have to first surpass his own father. Tulin imitates Revali which is followed by laughter until Tulin summons an updraft resulting in him falling. As Teba walks over to him, Revali reminds him that he still has to make some progress to make. During the secret DLC ending, Teba watches as Tulin is resting on Revali's lap when the latter stops the blanket from blowing away, amusing Teba.
Fanon[]
Tebalin is a relatively common ship between them as it further explores the relationship between Teba and Tulin. There are many fan arts of the two of them while sometimes depicting other characters such as Saki or Revali. There have been some works of fanfic that gives their relationship more focus and it usually has them practicing archery together or even with other characters. The cutscenes in the games involve Teba taking Tulin to the Flight Range after the Vah Medoh crisis has passed, where he and Revali save him along with having a heartwarming conversation, to Teba passing down the Great Eagle Bow to Tulin after he and Link save Rito Village from a blizzard are contributing factors as to how fans love the relationship between each other. Even when there has been some amount of tension between them, they do ultimately care for each other, and it is shown when Teba went all out to save him and does not want to leave him unattended in a dangerous place.
