Templight is the femslash ship between Tempest Shadow and Twilight Sparkle from the My Little Pony fandom.
Canon[]
Tempest Shadow and Grubber, who came on behalf of Storm King, interrupt Twilight's festival. Twilight is surprised upon seeing the commander, not believing it could be a unicorn because of her damaged horn. After Tempest asks the princesses to surrender, Twilight suggests to talk things out. When they refuse, Tempest attempts to turn every princess into stone, Twilight is able to escape because of Rainbow Dash saving her before Tempest could harm her. Tempest is enraged after realizing the pony she turned into stone wasn't Twilight and steps on her crown. Tempest zaps Grubber after knowing he couldn't catch Twilight, and later states she needs all the princesses so she can restore her horn.
Tempest goes on a journey to find Twilight and her friends for awhile without succeeding. Until, she finds Twilight at Basalt Beach alone and cages her. Tempest mocks Twilight for being a princess of friendship yet having no friends. After Twilight asks about Tempest's motives Tempest and how they're alike, Tempest responds with how they're nothing alike and jumps onto her cage. Tempest sings a song to Twilight and explains how she lost her horn and explains how she dislikes friendship for making her feel alone. Twilight admits she feels sorry for Tempest which causes Tempest to state that friendship also failed Twilight. This causes Twilight to think about her friends and how she failed her friendship with them. Twilight attempts to convince Tempest to not hand her to the Storm King, however, she refuses as she wants to try the magic.
The Storm King uses the magic to play around with the sun and moon which makes Twilight and Tempest look at each other which causes Tempest to feel regretful. Tempest and the Storm King fight after he admits he used her, Tempest is holding on and tries not to go into the cyclone and her surprise Twilight saves her. When Tempest questions this, Twilight tells her that it's what friends do and Tempest smiles at her.

Tempest and Twilight hold each other when the Storm King plans to attack them and later get saved by Twilight's friends. Tempest watches as Twilight is pulled in the cyclone while fighting the Storm King and later comes back. Tempest continues to watch Twilight and her friends reunite and is about to leave when the Storm King comes back to stone them, Tempest sacrifices herself to protect them. They end up both turning into stone, however, Twilight saves her from falling down and getting shattered. After Rainbow Dash comments on how she can't believe Tempest did that, Twilight tells her she can and converts Tempest back to normal. Tempest helps Twilight and her friends fix everything.

During the performance, Tempest chooses to watch from a distance, Twilight notices this and approaches her. Twilight tells Tempest how she hopes she would stay, which causes Tempest to bring up how her horn is still broken. Twilight tells Tempest her horn is powerful just like her. After their talk, Tempest shows what she can with her magic and create a firework show. Twilight stares at Tempest and they smile to each other, Tempest, who is bashful, looks away but Twilight smirks at her and they both stare at each other again.

The ship started to gain attraction after the events of "My Little Pony: The Movie". Shippers liked their enemies to lovers dynamic and their general dynamic. Some have speculated if their interaction near the end as meant to be interpreted romantic and the possibility of them having feelings for each other. Fans of the pair have also noticed that Tempest has similar colors to the lesbian flag and how Twilight has similar colors to the bisexual flag. However, it wasn't confirmed to be intentional as of now but it is a popular headcanon for them.

- In the end credits, Twilight and Tempest are hoof-bumping while jumping in a bouncy house.
- Twilight is shown to have drawn the events on the whiteboard, there is a picture of her and Tempest which has "Besties!" drawn above it with a heart symbol.

- Twilight invites Tempest to stay in Ponyville, however, she refuses and states she feels like she doesn't belong in Ponyville.
- Twilight is understanding and insists on a going-away party, which Tempest is uncomfortable with
- The two say goodbye to each other and Twilight asks her to visit her, Tempest agrees to this and tells her she won't forget her friends.

- After Starlight Glimmer mentions Tempest, Twilight tells her that she invited her to stay in Ponyville, but, she rejected her offer to spread the word of the Storm King's defeat and share her knowledge about friendship.
