TenFuyu is the het ship between Tensei Iida and Fuyumi Todoroki from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Tensei and Fuyumi have not met in canon. However, their younger brothers are close friends with one another, so it is possible that they may still one day meet. It is also important to note that Tenya and Shoto first became close because of Tensei; they bonded over fighting Stain, Tenya's revenge for paralyzing his older brother.
The two are kind-hearted people who deeply care for their family. Fuyumi takes on a nurturing role for her younger brother, Shoto, during their mother's absence. Tensei is the one who motivates Tenya to be a hero, and is joyful when he hears that his younger brother admires his work as a pro hero. His image for himself is that he wanted to 'be cool' and be the type of hero that helps others when they are in need of help. Tensei and Fuyumi also both come from hero legacy families, with Tensei (and later Tenya) carrying on the Ingenium name, and Fuyumi's father being the current Number 1 Hero.
Fanon[]
The fans paired them due to the close relationship of Shoto and Tenya. Fans of the ship like the headcanon of them being surprised when the two marry each other. Some fics also put that Shoto or Tenya is the one who matchmake them, because of the 'My bro's brother gotta marry my sister' trope. TenFuyu is often shipped in conjunction with TodoDeku and with an emphasis on the Dekusquad friendship.
Fuyumi and Tensei shares the same helpful and kind personalities. They also both have a feeling of regret that involves their younger brother. In Tensei's case, he has a feeling of regret over the fact that he couldn't be "Ingenium" who runs fast and apologizes to Tenya for disappointing his brother after Stain attacked him. Meanwhile, Fuyumi's regret comes from the fact that she "couldn't do anything for Shoto." This is also what inspired her to become a teacher, as she felt that she couldn’t protect her youngest brother.
Tensei is a strong leader, which has been displayed on multiple occasions. He carefully directed Team Idaten to a location on the Naruhata district highway to place a safety blockade in order to trap the Bat Villain. Tensei was even able to calm the passengers that were onboard the bus that the Monster Cat had overshadowed, and instructed Team Idaten to match the speed of the amalgamated entity so that they can prepare for the transfer of the passengers. When one of the riders expressed concern over transferring people at a high speed, Tensei assured him and the other commuters that his new recruit, Enigma, is a reliable source for the extraction. When one rider was still inside of the Monster Cat, Tensei advised Koichi to stay close behind him, while at the same time, Tensei himself moves ahead and Koichi avoids combat and reckless locomotion. Meanwhile Fuyumi, as an elementary school teacher, needs the ability to lead her students. That means the two have leadership skills.
TenFuyu currently has over 130 works on AO3, and is the most popular romantic pairing for Tensei. The biggest rival for this ship is MiruYumi.
