Tenkoi is the slash ship between Tensei Iida and Koichi Haimawari from the My Hero Academia fandom.

Tensei and Koichi first meet when they are both out training. Tensei is running, and Koichi is using his Quirk, something he is not licensed to do. Koichi is impressed at how fast Tensei moves, and Tensei is quickly impressed with Koichi's Quirk. Koichi worries that Tensei, as a Pro-Hero, will arrest him for unlawfully using his Quirk, but instead Tensei provides advice to Koichi. He has been struggling with how to stop at high speeds, so Tensei suggests that he move his body against his current direction. The advice helps, which excited Koichi. Tensei, seeing potential in him, offers Koichi a business card for Team Idaten.
That night, Tensei and Koichi again meet, however this time it as as the hero Ingenium and the vigilante The Crawler. Tensei recognizes Koichi due to his distinct Quirk, and meets with him the next morning to thank him for his help in subduing a villain. However, he also asks for his business card back. Koichi is initially hurt, thinking that Tensei no longer believes in him. On the contrary, Tensei tells Koichi that he thinks he belongs in the vigilante field rather than being a Pro Hero, and promises that his identity is safe.
Tensei and Koichi meet again when Koichi, Makoto Tsukauchi, and Koichi's mother are trapped on a runaway bus. Tensei is shocked to see Koichi, and the two quickly pretend like they don't know each other. All of the passengers are evacuated from the bus, but Makoto is accidentally left behind. Tensei chases after the bus, but begins to lose steam due to using his engines too much. That is when Koichi appears as "back-up", having convinced Team Idaten that he can reach Tensei before his engines stall. Tensei is shocked to see him, but also pleased. Together, they manage to save Makoto before the bus crashes.

Tenkoi is a popular ship in the Vigilantes sub-fandom of the My Hero Academia fandom. However, it does not have very much reach outside of fans of the spin-off manga, likely due to the fact that Koichi never makes an appearance in the mainline franchise. Due to the upcoming release of the Vigilantes anime, however, it is expected that the ship will grow in popularity.
Fans enjoy the ship due to the mutual trust between the two characters. Tensei is the first person outside of the Naruhata Vigilantes to learn Koichi's secret identity, and he promises to keep it a secret. He also seems to be one of the first people to see genuine potential in Koichi, offering him a spot at his agency before revoking the offer after seeing how well he works as a vigilante.
There are currently over 45 works for Tenkoi on AO3. It is Tensei's tenth most popular ship, and Koichi's most popular.
