Terralink is the friend ship between Link and Terrako from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Terrako arrives in the past where Hyrule is experiencing peace for a time-being, though it was defeated in a battle against Harbinger Ganon and buried in rubble while inactive. During a battle with the Blins in Hyrule Field, Link takes notice of Terrako leaning up against a nearby rock before hearing Impa's calls for help as she flees from the Bokoblins and tosses the Sheikah Slate to Link. This brings Terrako back to life and it runs for Zelda although Link quickly grabs it up and holds it high into the air. They are amazed and confused by the phenomenon that the Sheikah Slate and Terrako had created that made the towers rise from the ground and pay a visit to King Rhoam to let him know that they intend to take Terrako to the Royal Ancient Lab as it would prove to be useful. When Link is playable, Terrako always follows him around everywhere he goes and is never seen following anyone else during the battle scenarios. As They cross to the Breach of Demise where a Guardian is corrupted and attempts to kill the princess only for Link to block it, but with Terrako's help in activating unaffected inactive Guardians against the rampaging one, they managed to succeed and reach the Royal Ancient Lab where they meet with Purah and Robbie. Terrako shares information on Calamity Ganon's attack and the full extent of its power if it's not stopped. Zelda is determined to stop Ganon.
As they were ordered by King Rhoam to recruit the Champions, Terrako is with Link when he came to see Mipha, who is happy to see him and notes how cute Terrako is, before their reunion is cut short when a Zora guard tells her that monsters are attacking and realize that her brother Sidon is missing. After saving Sidon from a Lynel, Terrako shares a portrait of Vah Ruta leading to Zora's Domain's victory and Mipha being chosen after she saved them from the monsters and her father. Terrako accompanies them through Death Mountain where Daruk is eager to help them out, but Vah Rudania is in a tricky spot where they must climb to the top of Death Mountain and reach it from its crator while fighting monsters and they managed to make it and Daruk uses it to stop the monsters from taking over the Southern Mines. Link and Terrako travel through Tabantha where it was having a blizzard to find Revali, but the Rito mistakes them for raiders and Revali leads the attack to inhibit their progress to the village and as Revali is in a duel with Link and disarms him of his shield, Terrako alerts Link to a stray bomb arrow that exploded before it got closer to them, and the fight almost comes to a violent conclusion before Zelda came to stop them. As Revali explains about a Guardian like Terrako leading monster attacks against his village, he agrees to become Vah Medoh's pilot, but as he approaches Link to express his doubts about him, but Terrako sticks up for Link and calls itself Zelda's knight, which Revali scoffs off. Terrako was also present when the Gerudo have been manipulated against them by a fake Urbosa, who is really Master Kohga, with the real Urbosa clearing everything up and sent them packing.
As they walk through Castle Town, Sooga suddenly ambushes them which Terrako is amused and with the Champions lured away from the princess, Sooga throws kunai at Zelda and Terrako jumps to take the blow, but Link swats it away and blocks them with his shield. After the Yiga Clan flee, Terrako is upset at Link for stealing his big moment of selflessness. Later after he gains the Master Sword and the Champions are inaugurated, Link would also witness Terrako getting into a fight with Impa and this ends up bugging Revali to the point where he leaves. In the DLC, after Purah notes that Terrako is in danger, Link and his friends went to great pains to access the energy sources to help Terrako get back online. After Terrako defeats Harbinger Ganon, Link and Zelda catch up to it and are relieved that it was okay at it chirps and beeps to them.
As Link, Zelda, and Impa are about to depart to Mt. Lanayru, Terrako skitters over to them frantically with the Sheikah Slate in tow and as they are about to look into it, Calamity Ganon had already risen. Link and his friends hurry back to save King Rhoam, who was missing, but due to the increasing number of Guardians and monsters attacking in the castle, they were forced to flee and King Rhoam managed to save them from a Guardian and orders them to get away. Link takes the protesting princess out into the field. As she crumples over in despair when through the Sheikah Slate that she learns that the Divine Beasts will fall under Ganon's control and the Champions will die. However, Terrako summons the Gates of Time and sends them to the Divine Beasts and Vah Medoh's circuity glows blue but covered in Malice indicating that the Champions are still alive and in danger. Link and his friends head out to save them. Thanks to the future warriors that prevented the Blight Ganons from offing the Champions, Link is able to save them all.
They also helped to protect Akkala Citadel, Fort Hateno, and the Great Plateau where they find Rhoam to still be alive, until they were united to put an end to Ganon's reign of terror once and for all. After defeating Harbinger Ganon and Astor, the former devours the latter, and the Malice infects Terrako and they have to fight it. After Terrako is damaged, the Champions mourn it as Zelda resolves to destroy Ganon. Zelda's power during the battle with Calamity Ganon brings Terrako up and it runs upstairs and sacrifices itself to destroy Ganon's defenses, to give them a much-needed advantage to destroy it once and for all. After peace returns to Hyrule, Link and his allies gathered the fifty Terrako components and assemble it at the Royal Ancient Lab where it was initially unresponsive before Zelda's presence leads to it becoming functional again to everyone's relief. In the secret DLC ending, Link is with the other Champions, present and future as Terrako entertains them and he watches it catch a ride on Zelda's shoulders as she floats away on the paraglider.
Fanon[]
Terralink is a rare ship in both fanfics and fan art, though fans have grown to love the friendship between the two of them and Terrako has gone to excruciating lengths to ensure that Link, Zelda, the Champions, and everyone else has a better future for them all. In addition to having protected the Champions, Terrako has managed to prevent Link from being so badly wounded that he would have gone to the Shrine of Resurrection as Link was still healthy and able as the battle for Hyrule went on. Out of all the characters, Terrako was seen following Link everywhere he goes during the battle scenarios.
