Terrevali is the friend ship between Revali and Terrako from The Legend of Zelda fandom.

Canon[]

Revali and his countrymen were forced to deal with many monster attacks on Rito Village, led by a dark Diminutive Guardian, Harbinger Ganon they have since then been on high alert for Guardian activity. Both him and his army mistake a similar Guardian named Terrako for Harbinger Ganon, and they ended up attacking them instead. As Revali and Link get into a duel and was about to end in a violent conclusion, Zelda came in to stop them in the nick of time. As Revali explains the whole ordeal of the paranoia due to Harbinger Ganon attacking them, they realized that there is another existing Guardian that looks like Terrako and they must have a strategy planned out. Revali agrees to become Vah Medoh's pilot, but he walks over to Link to express his doubts about him, as Terrako suddenly startles everyone present as Impa interprets that it's calling itself a knight too. Revali is initially surprised, but he scoffs it off. Later, as they make it to Korok Forest, Revali expresses honor to play a part that King Rhoam had given him, but he speaks severely to Link and questions his leadership with both Daruk and Urbosa both standing up to him until Revali summons Divine Beast Vah Medoh to defeat the monsters around Korok Forest to let everyone pass. After Revali and the Champions were given their titles, they relax at the gazebo for a time being. Impa gets into a scuffle with Terrako to the point of chasing it, and they would end up invading Revali's personal space which Revali tells them to leave him out of their fight and to take it somewhere else, but due to them being too focused on each other to listen to him, he eventually ends up leaving to regain his deteriorating composure.

Despite their initial disputes between each other, Terrako does not bear any ill will towards Revali. When Calamity Ganon rose a day earlier than expected, Link, Zelda, and Impa tried but were unable to save Rhoam, who supposedly took the blast from the Guardians to spare their lives, Zelda sinks into near total despair until Terrako summons the Gates of Time and sends them to the Divine Beasts. In the meantime, Revali was struggling in a battle against Windblight Ganon, who keeps firing lasers at him to keep him from striking back and it ends up hitting his wing to throw him off-balance. Revali was dangerously close to death by a charged laser from Windblight Ganon's cannons before Terrako's Gate of Time opened to let Teba through and shoot arrows at the demon before it could shoot Revali. It was thanks to Terrako that Revali was able to live on as it also holds true for the other Champions as well. While Windblight Ganon was able to flee and tries to attack them again as they were defending Western Hyrule and is able to get revenge by destroying it. As Hyrule is united after Akkala Citadel, Fort Hateno, and the Great Plateau were saved, they managed to get into Hyrule Castle where they confront Harbinger Ganon and Astor. After Astor was absorbed, Terrako was possessed, and Link and Zelda had to defeat it. Revali and the Champions managed to catch up to it and were heartbroken to see Terrako in a damaged state before they moved upstairs to confront Calamity Ganon and Zelda's power allowed Terrako to run upstairs and sacrifice itself to render Ganon vulnerable and they were able to defeat it once and for all.

Revali and his friends would go to great lengths to recover Terrako's fifty components and bring them to the Royal Ancient Lab where it was reassembled and while unresponsive, Revali assure everyone that it's still waking up and after Zelda steps in front of it, Terrako is able to function and Revali can be seen smiling and looking away in relief. In gameplay, when the player switches from Terrako to Revali, he will say, "Took you long enough". During the credits after Terrako's reconstruction, it paid Revali a visit where he starts petting it in greeting and lets it ride on his back and they are later seen at Hyrule Castle where Daruk brings everyone in for a group hug. During the secret DLC ending, Revali is seen with both the present and future Champions as Terrako amuses them and are seen once more at a Sheikah Tower where Revali and his friends watch Zelda and Terrako float away on a paraglider.

Fanon[]

Terrevali has yet to see any ships involving fan art, though it's very rare for them to have the relationship between Revali and Terrako to be focused upon. Despite them having a few interactions with each other, fans have grown to love and appreciate the amount of development they have with each other, going from being distant to being genuine buddies. Revali did not have a good start with Terrako as another one like it had been attacking Rito Village so much, it almost resulted in his army killing critical allies due to the friendly one's presence and given that Revali is shown to not be fond of Zelda's appointed knight, he also scoffs when Terrako calls itself a knight to the princess. Fans have found the scene where Impa and Terrako are arguing and catching Revali in the middle of it all to be the most hilarious in the game and adding that they were giving Revali his proper comeuppance for picking on Link earlier, even if it was unintentional on their part.

Nonetheless, they end up loving how Terrako is ultimately forgiving towards Revali and goes all out to save his life in his time of need by bringing Teba back to their era and had an overarching role in Revali's development as Tulin's presence in the DLC also contributed to Revali's character growth. Revali himself eventually begins warming up to Terrako as well and he is shown to be very sad after Terrako ended up suffering so much damage from possession and having to be broken and helps Zelda get vengeance against Calamity Ganon and he later helps gather its components and expresses relief when Terrako becomes responsive again and their friendship is shown when Terrako visits Revali at Rito Village and the latter ends up petting it and allowing it to ride on his back and the DLC ending shows Revali and the Champions smiling at Terrako in one of the scenes.
