TessCynJenvy is the family ship between Tessa Elliott, Cyn, Serial Designation J, Serial Designation N, and Serial Designation V from the Murder Drones fandom.

Canon[]

N, V, Cyn, and J meet Tessa Elliott via the prestigious Elliott manor on Earth. Tessa's parents purchased a mass amount of Worker Drones for the majority of them to be discarded for being "broken". N, V, and J managed to uphold their status as successful servants to the manor. In return, Tessa grew exceptionally close to them due to her fondness for Worker Drones. She decided to play dress up with them, form a very close bond with J, and so on.

Her parents are disapproving of this as they view the robots as material rather than people. Cyn is one of the many discarded Elliott drones. However, with the supernatural assistance of the Absolute Solver program, it revived Cyn as a Zombie Drone. Tessa managed to stumble upon her body buried by the thousands of drone corpses. In one of N's various flashbacks, Tessa confirmed to have dug Cyn out of the scrap heap to continue her position as a maid.

J is visibly disappointed in this new addition to the cast, but N becomes extremely close to Cyn to the point he becomes an older brother figure to her. It's unclear whether he reciprocates this sibling view. As the series progresses, so does the insight into the collective relationship of the team. Tessa and J are revealed to be best friends, Cyn and Tessa are exceptionally close, and N has romantic feelings towards V though the latter was never confirmed to reciprocate them. Cyn gradually becomes increasingly aggressive towards humans in her Solver possession.

She successfully shields her sadistic intent behind an innocent, kooky mask. Her hatred for humanity, however, does not seem to expand towards Tessa for the human girl's considerate and sympathetic actions towards dronekind. V's relationship with the squad is notably scarce and not deeply explored in the episodes showcasing the Disassembly Drone's history.

Home[]

Cyn plans to eradicate the humans attending the gala before extending it to humanity as a whole. The night of the gala has Tessa stressing frantically to J; J is rather nonchalant to it and being the anchor to Tessa's panic. V and N are simultaneously distracted by their personal duties until V is cast under an error code that freezes her body in place. N meets up with Cyn and pursues a discussion. Cyn announces her desire to attend the gala, but for obvious reasons, she is unsure whether she would be accepted by the Elliotts.

N supports her decision to ask them and reassures her they'll have a movie night as a Plan B. The two encounter J and Tessa; Tessa exuberantly dashes up to N to affectionately spin him around. She doesn't notice Cyn behind him; when she does, her face shifts to what can be perceived as a scowl and or skepticism. A harsh truth is revealed to N that J and Tessa decided to lock Cyn in her "timeout basement" for safety measures. This explains why Tessa was confused to see Cyn standing before her. Before their conversation could progress Louisa Elliott confronts them with commands for Tessa.

The woman shamelessly declares Tessa's "dumpster pets", referring to the drones, won't be attending the gala. Her gaze lands on an eerie Cyn that unsettled her. She mentions tossing Cyn back into the heaping pile of drone corpses, but Cyn retaliates with ominous words. N immediately jumps in to protect his younger sister figure and takes the blame for the female drone's rogue behavior. He's subsequently punished with being chained to a tree for birds to peck at him, though he's ultimately amused by it.

Tessa is still cast into punishment and chained to her room with J and Cyn surprisingly unchained with her. Tessa demands assistance from J, but the latter reluctantly rejects due to the Elliotts' orders. Cyn is seen in the distance toying with Tessa's dolls. Tessa's attention snaps to her and orders she doesn't hurt N. Cyn nonchalantly replies with having backups.

She takes advantage of Tessa's predicament to transform and initiate her planned massacre. She still possesses an underlying tone of unsettling affection towards Tessa, explaining that she should avoid the gala for being too "squeamish". N is eventually freed by his future best friend and girlfriend, Uzi Doorman, who took the form of a crow and claimed herself to be travelling back from the future to delve into his and V's memories. The duo sneak back inside the mansion to be met with a still frozen V. V's body stands rigidly atop of the entrance to the basement.

N gingerly moves her body to the side to open the entrance to no avail. His failed attempt triggered the Solver that remained dormant inside of V; the maid teleports away from them in a flash. With the key in mind, N and Uzi are left with the choice to follow her. J and Tessa, with Tessa now freed due to J's influence, bump into them. They meet on the indoor balcony where V also resides and crawling creepily on the ceiling above them in her new eldritch form. The group huddles, prepared for a sprawl.

V plummets down atop of them and forces their bodies to scatter. She unhesitatingly targets Tessa first in the attempt to kill her off. J thankfully successfully parries the attack. She orders N to take the key and escape to the basement while she distracts V (who she describes as "coma patient"). Though N is offended by J's rude description of V, Uzi and him take off alive.

Meanwhile Tessa and J managed to ward off V who is now pursuing N. They take the chance to barge into the gala to halt Cyn's sadistic agenda. Their heroic act immediately turns meaningless; Cyn's corrupt ability allowed her to gain the upper hand against her weaker subjects. She traps the attendants, Tessa, and J within the ball room to presumably begin her genocide. N and Uzi finally get into the basement all the while the terror is happening upstairs.

It's revealed that Cyn used J, N, and V's corpses to transform them from Worker to Disassembly Drones to kill off the rest of dronekind on Copper 9.

Absolute End[]

Though it appears that J is siding with an adult Tessa to defeat Cyn officially, Cyn is wearing the skin of kid Tessa with J switching to the dark side and being entirely aware of it. Her betrayal isn't revealed until the finale. She has a heated battle and argument with V, who is exceptionally hurt by the abandonment of a fellow ally. J's best excuse was that it's better to side with the winning team. She even offers an extra spot to the team to V, who rightfully declines instantly.

Meanwhile, Cyn pursues N and Uzi in a fight of their own. By the end of the battle, the Triumphant Trio stood victorious over Cyn, who is officially dead, and a shunned J.

Fanon[]

The TessCynJenvy family ship is a well recognized and favored ship within the fandom. Fans commonly prefer to refer to them as the "Elliott Family" for their own heartwarming and closely familial properties. Cyn's character is restricted by the Absolute Solver's possession on her which leaves fans to insert interpretations/headcanons of her character before her unfortunate infection. The squad carries a multitude of fanart in dedication to the fifth episode, Home, and their relationship as a whole.
