Testmic is the femslash ship between Test Tube and Microphone from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.
Canon[]
Test Tube and Microphone are both season 2 debuters, though Test Tube also participates in season 3.
Despite their rivalries in the show, it has been stated that they have fixed their relationship by creators.
Alternate Reality Show
Microphone enters Test Tube's secret lab to try and return the taser. Upon arrival, she says 'hey' nervously twice and finger guns Test Tube, trying to 'play it cool'. Test Tube interrupts and scribbles the 'secret' in 'Test Tube's secret laboratory' off from her whiteboard, before hinting for Microphone to continue. Microphone asks Test Tube if the taser is hers, who inspects it briefly before coming to the conclusion that she had dropped it and takes it from Microphone. Microphone approaches the time machine that Test Tube is working on, asking her what it is. Test Tube almost tells her, before stopping herself and saying that Microphone has seen enough, calling her a jeebweezer and deciding to use the word more often.
Mine Your Own Business
Test Tube shoots a dart aimed at Suitcase, however it ends up hitting Microphone, who immediately falls to the ground, instead.
Hatching The Plan
Microphone sees Test Tube's secret lab, and tries to give her ideas to use it without giving away the fact that its there by pointing at it and making odd noises. Test Tube seems to not understand, to which Microphone just outright says it. After this, Test Tube says that she 'wishes this were under better circumstances', approaching and wrapping her arm around Microphone and snapping her fingers. After she does so, fireworks set off and Test Tube moves away, telling Microphone that she 'did it', saying that the secret is out. Microphone now is wearing a ribbon saying 'biggest winner' while everybody elses say 'winner', although Test Tube's enthusiasm is obviously sarcastic. Test Tube says that they all can take anything from the lab (Whatever Microphone hasnt already stolen).
After telling Knife to keep tearing apart metal, Test Tube approaches Microphone to give her instructions too. Microphone smiles and gives a thumbs up before Test Tube asks her to keep 'tearing apart her trust' and 'stealing things', to which Microphone frowns and gives a thumbs down to.
Test Tube says that the ship is done, and that it's built to fit one pilot. Microphone asks her if she could've built one to fit them all in, to which Test Tube says that she could have, but she didn't.
After Microphone cuts ties with Taco, Test Tube tries to clear up what she believes to be the truth. She says that she encountered an alien species (which is true) and that Microphone killed her (which is not true). After Microphone gains immunity, Test Tube is leaving and tells Microphone that she 'hopes it was worth it' with a glare.
Test Tube and Microphone are both eliminated that episode. When they are leaving to go through the portal, Test Tube tells Microphone to walk in front of her so she doesn't get metaphorically stabbed in the back again.
Objects in Mirror
During the line game, when Microphone is running she thinks back to memories. Test Tube and Taco are either side of her, and after yelling loudly she looks over to Test Tube with a look of disappointment at no response. A few seconds later, when she's running again, she looks over to Test Tube, who smiles at her, implying more onto the fact that their relationship is less negative now despite the past.
