ThadSam is the slash ship between Thad and Sam from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Thad and Sam are never seen interacting in on-screen events. Their relationship is extremely vain except for the remaining fact of them being peers. Thad and Sam attended the class trip to the Cabin Fever labs. Everyone except for him and Lizzy are terrified of the idea of Serial Designation N and V being their camp counselors. He approaches the two nonchalantly to assure Sam and the others to let their guards down. What really hammered the nail is Uzi Doorman's pitiful attempt at consoling them alongside Thad.
Thad isn't seen for the remainder of the episode for unknown reasons. Sam and Thad aren't entirely opposite from each other. Both are typically laid-back and neutral with their surroundings. Thad seems to have a generically more popular status than Sam for being "the jock" of the school. His attitude is notably more outgoing than Sam and most of his peers as well.
Sam is implied to be a much more "mentally distant" character. His aloof and chill attitude showcases a "stoner"-like personality. Despite this, Sam has no issue in easily making friends. Sam and Thad tend to fit in with most social groups. It's unclear whether Sam naturally gains recognition from others like Thad.
Their relationship is never explored due to Sam's sudden death to the possessed Uzi Doorman.

ThadSam is an extreme rarepair within the fandom but gains a considerable amount of attention from shippers on AO3. The "stoner" trope of Sam is what allures fans into pairing him with most characters. Thad's more loud and confident ego mixes with Sam's quiet and relaxed one. The two initiate the Red Oni, Blue Oni and or Night and Day Duo tropes. Said tropes are very popular relationship dynamics across fanbases and thus serve as another persuasive factor into alluring shippers into this pairing.
