The Devourer is the cargo ship between Park Humin and Food from the Weak Hero fandom.
Canon[]
Ben Park (Park Humin in the Korean version) loves to eat and has been shown bringing up food or eating many times.
Chapter 5
Immediately after forcing Yoosun High School into retreating, Ben invites Gray Yeon (Yeon Sieun in the Korean version) to join him, Alex Go (Go Hyeontak in the Korean version), and Gerard Jin (Jin Gayool in the Korean version) for ramen. Gray coldly refuses.
Chapter 11
Alex has been telling Ben about a dinner wager with him and a few of their classmates, saying that the loser buys at Shark Snack Bar. Ben declines and says there's a feast of stewed ribs waiting for him at home. He says he isn't going through the labor to eat their peasant food.
Chapter 19
Alex finally returns to school after ditching for several days to avoid Ben seeing his wounds from Jimmy Bae (Bae Jihun in the Korean version). Ben tells him that they should talk after school before they go to the pool hall. He hands a banana milk to Alex, who noted that Ben never gives others stuff to eat.
Chapter 69
During the lunch break, Ben and Alex bump into Gray and Eugene Gale (Seo Juntae in the Korean version) who are returning from the cafeteria. They notice Gray's serious expression and Eugene's nervousness. Ben's first thought is wondering if the food sucked. While Alex asks Eugene about what happened, Ben asks Gray if he does like pork cutlets. Gray says he likes them.
Chapter 70
Ben brings Gray to Ttosikki Chicken. His number one rule of counseling us to feed the client first. It has been proven to be quite effective, hence why Ben has filled up his stamp card. The owner immediately recognizes Ben. Mr. Kim mentions his son, Toby Kim, is the same age as them but not as bright. Ben says his son must be a cheerful fella since his dad owns a chicken store. After feeding Gray, Ben manages to convince him to open up, and Gray tells him about his tragic middle school backstory.
Chapter 89
After Gray is hospitalized after defeating Wolf Keum (Keum Seongje in the Korean version), Eugene orders pizza while he, Rowan Im (Im Juyang in the Korean version), and Teddy Jin (Jin Taeoh in the Korean version) visit for three reasons. First, the hospital food is awful. Second, they have a lot of Coke. Third, The Devourer isn’t with them. Ben can eat six slices of pizza at once and is able to demolish a pizza box in a minute.
Chapter 107
Ben calls Alex, Gerard, and Gray together. He reveals to them that he has ten stamps on his Ttosikki Chicken coupon card, which means he can get one free chicken when Ttosikki reopens next week. Gray says he needs to catch up on his studies, but that he is free on Friday afternoon.
Chapter 133
The Baku Fam goes to Ttosikki Chicken, which has gotten noticeably busier lately. Ben drools once a plate piled high with chicken is brought to their table. Rowan reveals the reason the food is on the house today is because Rowan and Ben had filmed a MeTube video promoting Ttosikki Chicken. The video is of Ben finishing an entire chicken within five minutes and saying it's so good that it must've been dosed with drugs.
When Gray and Eugene start talking about how to improve the lighting, Ben had no idea what they're talking about and continues to eat chicken. Alex comments that he looks terrified. Ben asks to save the brainy talk for later and says he's starting to feel a little sick. Alex argues that Ben already ate an entire chicken by himself, but Gerard says Ben is stress eating. Rowan warns that they need to hurry before it's all gone and Eugene panics that Ben's eating it all up.
Chapter 146
While on a train to Busan with Gray, Ben thinks it's strange how he always gets hungry on a train, even after eating a big breakfast. It's a good thing he brought plenty of food, which he shares with Gray. A narration box describes Ben as a big eater and a gourmet.
Chapter 183
At Lotty World, after reserving his Big Drop Pass, Ben immediately goes to the snack bar and buys something. After the Baku Fam rides a few attractions, they buy some chicken pieces in a cup. Ben challenges Alex to rock-paper-scissor and wins his chicken. He pours both portions into his mouth and eats them.
Chapter 255
After Ben and Gray both lose to Donald Na (Na Baekjin in the Korean version), Donald allows Eunjang to leave without further incident. Ben asks Gray if he’s alright. Gray thinks it’s weird because even though he’s sure he’s in a state to be carried away in an ambulance, he thinks all of his pain is insignificant. Rowan asks what’ll happen to Eunjang, but Ben says that he’s hungry and that he’ll pay for udon for everyone. He tells them not to overthink things today and says they’ll worry about the future in the future

Fanon[]
Ben, like many shonen protagonists, has a love for food. He also has a big appetite. He has also canonically eaten large amounts of food in a short time, such as finishing an entire pizza in a minute or an entire chicken in five. When written into fanfiction, it’s usually the canon scenes of Ben eating food or additional scenes to help lighten the mood. Even right after fighting and losing to Donald, Ben thinks about food instead of getting his and his friends’ wounds treated.
