Shipping Wiki

The Hundred Line ships. This page is for ships with a lack of content, or for ships with minimal interactions. Please add as much content as you can to the sections below. Once a ship meets the requirements, you are welcome to create a page.

The current requirements for ship pages are:

  • 20 sentences split between the canon and fanon sections, with content in both sections.
  • One minimum link under the fandom section (e.g. AO3 tags, Tumblr links)

Please refrain from adding more than five images to a ship section, and refrain from adding any fan art. If you're unsure if a ship meets the requirements for a page, discuss with a member of our admin team.

Addamabasa[]

Canon[]

In almost all routes, Addamaque and Tsubasa only interactions features them being enemies who fight each other.

V'ehxness Route[]

One day while Tsubasa decides to cautiously visit the War Room, Addamaque calls out to and corners her there. Tsubasa attempts to stay strong, thinking Addamaque is going to torture or kill her. However, she is surprised to hear that Addamaque is planning on backstabbing V'ehxness and leading a rebellion against her, and encourages her to join them as well.

When the onslaught and counterattack from the anti-V'ehxness party happens, Addamaque gets gravely injured and runs into a transformed Tsubasa in the hallway. He then offers Tsubasa to absorb his cryptoglobin, and Tsubasa tears up. Addamaque then tells her to not cry, stating she's too pretty for it. Tsubasa calms down and proceeds to grant his final "wish" and eventually finds Takumi tending to an injured V'ehxness in the Leisure Lounge.

Fanon[]

The ship is a rarepair, often being overshadowed by more prominent ships for Tsubasa such as Takutsuba and Killing Game Polycule. The V'ehxness route is also the only route in the game that gives Addamaque any prominent dialogue or characterization, making the ship totally unknown among players who haven't played this route. However, it has a small but dedicated fan community, who are fans of the way Addamaque is characterized as an antihero, and appreciate the unlikely friendship the two build over the route.

The ship sailed mostly because Takumi is most commonly shipped with Eito and very commonly shipped with Yugamu, so this pairing combines the two. Eigamu is also a less common ship between two out of the three.

Darutsuba[]

“Are you alright, Tsubasa-sama? If you need somewhere to puke, aim for my face.”
— Darumi on Day 83 (Killing Game)

Darutsubasa is the femslash ship between Darumi Amemiya and Tsubasa Kawana from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

Route 0[]

Upon waking up in Last Defense Academy, Darumi and Tsubasa immediately spoke to each other. When Darumi said she knew why they were there and Tsubasa inquired further, she said, "Elementary, my dear Clarissa! Stick with me and I'll explain it all! Kyohohohooo!" Tsubasa missed the joke, simply saying Darumi's laugh was creepy and her name wasn't Clarissa.

Unlike many others, Darumi and Tsubasa interacted back-and-forth with each other multiple times on Day 1, typically with Darumi responding to Tsubasa's rhetorical questions.

Killing Game[]

When Dahl'xia throws a knife at Tsubasa, Darumi dives in front of it, sustaining a severe injury. While the students rush her back to the school for treatment, Darumi begs Tsubasa to kill her and take her points so she isn't executed.

After Darumi expresses that she doesn't have a reason to live after having killed Hiruko, Tsubasa insists she'll be Darumi's friend and take care of her. When Darumi refuses to believe her, Tsubasa kisses her, shocking everyone. Darumi finally believes that Tsubasa cares about her, and starts calling her "Mistress Tsubasa" ("Tsubasa-sama" in the Japanese dub), reflecting how she referred to Hiruko.

When Tsubasa is recovering in bed, Darumi tends to her obsessively. In ending 088, Tsubasa mentions that she and Darumi had been bathing together.

Quotes[]

Darumi“You gonna pass me around and have some fun with me first? Or are you gonna save that until after I'm dead? Can't have a killing game without some gory and/or sexy R-rated scenes, am I right? Go ahead and mess me up! Should we film it for posterity? Make sure you get my good side when my eyes roll up into the back of my head.”
Tsubasa“Will you stop talking crazy for a minute, Amemiya-san?!”
— Day 33 (Killing Game)
“Tsubasa-sama is getting twenty-four hour personalized care from me, so there's nothing to worry about at all! I dabbed every nook and cranny of Tsubasa-sama's body with a damp cloth... The lewd sight of Tsubasa-sama's body, flushed by fever... *sigh*... It was crazy erotic...”
— Darumi on Day 79 (Killing Game)

Fanon[]

The ship gained some attention after the demo version was released due to Darumi's "My dear Clarissa" line in the localization. It eventually gained more traction following their interactions in the Killing Game Route, although it still remains a rarepair as an independent ship. It is mainly rivaled by Takutsuba and Takudaru, and is frequently seen as a component of the more popular Killing Game Polycule poly ship.

Darueito[]

Canon[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

Eito and Darumi are fellow members of the Special Defense Unit.

Retsnom[]

When Sirei threatened to kill Darumi over her secret, Eito surprised everyone by killing Sirei and died in the process—knowing that he was unable to be revived—to protect her. Because Darumi had fused with Retsnom and was no longer fully human, Eito was able to see her as a normal person unaffected by his cognitive disorder. On his deathbed, he talked about how Darumi was breathtakingly beautiful and unlike every other distorted, ugly human. It was the first time Eito had ever seen a human the way other people do. He swore to do whatever it took to keep her safe, because from the moment he saw her, his "heart belonged to her". He told the others that he wanted to spend his final moments thinking about the most beautiful person he'd ever seen.

Even though the Ruby Tear was originally sought after in order to revive the members of Second-to-Last Defense Academy, Darumi used it to "revive" Eito first.

Quotes[]

“I... I saw her... One night, I saw Darumi-san walking around the school, all alone... She was so... beautiful. She looked nothing like the repulsive humans I'm so used to seeing... The sight of her took my breath away. From that moment on... my heart belonged to her. I swore to protect her... To do whatever it took to keep her safe.”
— Eito on Day 71 (Retsnom Route)

Darugaku[]

Darugaku is the het ship between Darumi Amemiya and Gaku Maruko from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

Route 0[]

On Day 1, Darumi was one of the first four to agree to fight. When Gaku called the fighters crazy for standing up to monsters, Darumi questioned him with the logic that they might as well fight if they were trapped there anyway. After Gaku first used his Class Weapon, Darumi agreed that it was badass and requested to use it herself sometime.

Slasher[]

During the zombie branch, Darumi and Gaku are the ones who caused the zombification to start happening, because they brought the G'ie bugs back into school from the relay station, as they thought they were just cute bugs that they could keep as pets.

Box of Blessings[]

In ending 027, Gaku takes advantage of Eito knowing which boxes to open, tackling him after he's opened the boxes but before he's able to make his wish. While Eito is recovering, Gaku uses the boxes to wish that he could have a life like a harem rom-com protagonist. The boxes of blessings grant his wish by reviving Darumi and Kyoshika, who both suddenly exhibit strong romantic interest in Gaku.

Moments[]

2nd Scenario
  • In the latter half of the route, Takumi is spooked by someone ringing his doorbell frantically. He goes to open it only to find Gaku who laughs at him and says that he (Takumi) got pranked. Gaku then reveals that Darumi once pranked him the same way.

Route 0[]

When Kurara first showed her boxing skills by punching someone, Darumi said it was awesome. Darumi also exclaimed, "A wild pretty girl appeared?!" when Kurara's mask was ripped off for the first time. Not long after, she called her a "precious little princess", followed by simply the pet name Princess, and said she'd forgive her after getting revenge—"much worse" than hurting her.

Quotes[]

“I'm only here because Amemiya threatened to slit her wrists if I didn't. I knew she'd come right back again, but that doesn't mean I want her blood on my hands.”
— Kurara (Day 39)
Darumi“[joining the talk about invaders messing with everyone's skincare routines] You know what? NOW it's personal!”
Kurara“You actually care about your skin, Amemiya? I'm surprised you can even breathe through all that makeup uou slather on.”
Darumi“Better than sweating like a pig inside that mask! The whole thing stinks like an unwashed jockstrap, you know.”

Eigaku[]

Eigaku is the slash ship between Eito Aotsuki and Gaku Maruko from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

Route 0[]

Eito and Gaku both initially refused to fight. Eito stated that he had no reason to trust Sirei's given reasons to fight, which Gaku agreed with. He also backed Eito up when he didn't take Sirei's threats seriously.

When Hiruko disallowed the group to search for the missing Eito on Day 6, Gaku agreed that she was being heartless and said that she was telling them to let him die. On Day 11, when Hiruko tried to force the non-fighters to leave, Eito said they were all supposed to be friends and they could work together to change Hiruko's mind.

Eito suggested that Takumi gift Gaku clothes when he was looking for a way to incentivize Gaku to fight. Eito, unlike the others, had noticed that he didn't have many clothes or the means to buy more. Having given out this information, Eito also indirectly helped Gaku find a reason to fight.

On Day 22 and before, Eito and Gaku set up a barbecue together. Though Eito prepared the materials, he credited Gaku for getting the ball rolling. On Day 78, the two set up a surprise festival.

Eito also said that Gaku was surprisingly suitable to cheer up Kako because he had lots of siblings.

Eishou[]

Eishou is the slash ship between Eito Aotsuki and Shouma Ginzaki The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

Eito and Shouma are both members of the Special Defense Unit and "classmates" at the Last Defense Academy.

Route 0[]

Shouma expressed admirtion for Eito. After finding the missing Eito on Day 6, Shouma said, "He put himself in all that danger for us... That's the kind of selfless attitude I can only dream of..."

When the Library was unlocked, Eito and Shouma were the first to show up. Eito enthused about the number of books, then asked Shouma if he liked to read and if he had a favorite book. Shouma said he didn't read or consume any media. Eito was also one of the only ones to pay special attention to Shouma at later times, such as at the barbecue, where he was the only one besides Takumi to not doubt Shouma's dream-memory. Eito was also the only one to express real concern for Shouma when he "spaced out" on Day 3. He gathered everyone to talk about it the next day and encouraged him to speak (and everyone else to hear him out). However, the discussion started a fight in the Cafeteria, leading both to take the blame and apologize to each other.

Shouma said even daily life was too competitive for him and he was unsuited for combat, and Eito told him not to talk like that and not to give up. Shouma was later given eight days to prepare to fight. Eito told him that while he wouldn't force him to do anything, Shouma was the only one who could prevent disaster, so he should consider it. Shouma reluctantly agreed. The next day, Eito went to get Shouma when he was hiding. Eito believed Shouma could fight, saying that Shouma needed to stop being so hard on himself because he wasn't nearly as weak as he thought he was. He offered to help so he wouldn't have to do it alone.

He also tried to convince the others that Shouma was chosen for the Special Defense Unit because he had something hidden but special about him that made him valuable. Eito proposed finding a way to make Shouma think more positively to help him overcome his problems. To help incentivize Shouma to fight, Eito recommended that Takumi got him something dog-related. He'd known about Leo's relationship with his dog and the details of how they were inseperable, implying the two had spoken about the topic together before.

Eito showed concern for Shouma during and after his duel with Kurara. When he passed out, Eito panicked a bit and asked for help getting his new body back to his room as he'd need a lot of rest. Later, after Shouma appeared in battle for the first time, Eito said they couldn't've won without him.

2nd Scenario[]

Box of Blessings[]

During Ending 29, Shouma joins the final battle against V'ehxness and Eito just as the latter is going on a monologue. Shouma reveals that he sympathizes with Eito, due to both of them being shunned and abandoned by the society, and although Eito rebuffs him, Shouma refuses to yield down on his belief. After the fight, when Hiruko asks what they should do about Eito, Shouma offers to take care of him

Quotes[]

Shouma“A-About that... Do you think you could let me handle him? What he said before was true. Aotsuki-san is like me. We both know what it's like to be outcasts... So, I think... given enough time, we might be able to understand each other. I don't want this to be like what happened with Eva. I don't want to kill him.”
Eito“You are so naive... Just what do you think those compassionate ideas of yours are going to achieve?”
Shouma“I think... that's for future generations to decide. As for the here and now, I won't give up on ending this war peacefully.”
— Ending 29 "A Brighter Future"

When Eito went missing on Day 6, Tsubasa was the first to express concern for him by telling Takumi it was an emergency. She got annoyed at Darumi for joking about the possibility that he died.

After overhearing Tsubasa's reason for refusing to fight, Eito came up with the idea to make her a fashionable sick pouch. He also helped gather some of the materials to craft it, which he described as a fun "treasure hunt" since he didn't get to hang out with friends in the hospital.

Gakurara[]

Gakurara is the het ship between Gaku Maruko and Kurara Oosuzuki from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

General[]

In almost every route, Gaku and Kurara frequently bicker, with Gaku often being the object of Kurara's teasing. The two trade insults almost every time they're in the same room together. However, Gaku is always extremely complimentary towards Kurara's curry, often going on lengthy diatribes about how delicious it tastes, much to Kurara's delight.

In Kurara's 3rd Bonding Event, she crafts a handgun in order to threaten Gaku, who had been calling her names. Whether she ever actually threatens him with the gun is never specified.

Route 0[]

Gaku and Kurara started arguing and insulting each other as soon as they met. When Kurara's mask was ripped off after her and Shouma's fight, though, Gaku said, "You gotta be kidding me! She was a total babe this whole time?!" The next day, he said he wanted the unmasked Kurara back.

Kurara commanded Gaku to go cheer up Kako to give him an opportunity to make himself useful. He said no until Kurara offered him 5,000 yen an hour to do so, which he eagerly accepted with a red face. On the morning of Day 78, Gaku asked Kurara specifically for her opinion on the festival he helped set up. Kurara said it looked like he worked hard, but he needed curry at the festival. Kurara also forgave Gaku for stealing her curry previously and even made some especially for him later.

Coming of Age[]

When the group first arrived at the beach for their training camp, Kurara refused to join the others in their many activities, but Gaku asked her to smash watermelons with them and offered to "lotion her up" if she needed it.

On Day 54, Gaku invited the boys to his room to gossip about girls. When asked who he had a crush on, he said he liked Kurara for her money because he could live in luxury for the rest of his life with it.

Fanon[]

Gakurara is a popular ship in the fandom. The pairing has over 20 works on AO3, putting it at 7th place, and many posts across various social media platforms. On AO3, it's also Kurara's most popular ship and Gaku's second most popular by number of works. Many fans find appeal in the dynamic between a poor and rich pairing, not to mention its basis in canon. Kurara and Gaku also have a lot in common despite their apparent differences, such as a love of good cooking, a devotion to their large families, and a lack of self-confidence that they often try to paper over with bluster.

Kurara's Bonding Event scene where she talks about threatening Gaku with a gun is a popular motif in fanart and fanfiction, with many works portraying her pointing a gun at him.

Nozomoko[]

Nozomoko is the femslash ship between Nozomi Kirifuji and Moko Mojiro from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

Route 0[]

Moko was first spoken of by Nozomi, even before she appeared on screen. Nozomi mentioned that she hadn't given up on finding her yet, that she wouldn't give up that easily an would find Moko herself. She repeatedly denied Moko's death and said that she and the rest of the team owed her their lives. After defeating the brainwashing commander, Nozomi approached it with shaking hands and demanded and begged for Moko back. Upon learning it couldn't understand her, she started crying. Even then, she said she wouldn't give up on Moko. She swore to find her and wouldn't rest until she repaid Moko for saving her life.

When the invader mimicking Moko returned on Day 50, Nozomi helped carry her to her room. She introduced "Moko" as Second-to-Last Defense Academy's friend, ally, and the one who saved their lives. She also said she'd always known she'd be alright because if wrestling couldn't break her, neither could invaders. She guessed that Moko took down an entire group of invaders to get there, displaying her belief in Moko's strength despite her worries. Takumi thought about how much Moko must've meant to Nozomi. Nozomi went on to recount her experience with Moko before she was captured: about how she had taken charge, kept the group together, and cheered everyone up, plus her combat skills and how she was just amazing in Nozomi's eyes. The next day and for over a week following that, Nozomi stayed in Moko's room, Nozomi only coming out to fight for Moko and find ingredients to make her medicine.

"Moko" told Nozomi "love you" after waking up from her care. Nozomi ran to hug her, but always acted hesitant around her afterward. She'd noticed something was up long before anyone else.

Shionbasa[]

Shionbasa is the het ship between Tsubasa Kawana and Shion/FB from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

After Route 0, Tsubasa is the first student besides Takumi to see Shion, who at the time is unnamed and is referred to as "ghost boy" or "Undying Flames boy". In every route where the two interact, Tsubasa consistently advocates for Shion's interests, always regarding him as a full-fledged team member and valued friend.

2nd Scenario[]

When Shion asks if he could be allowed to join the Special Defense Unit, Tsubasa forcefully supports him being allowed to join the team.

Coming-of-Age[]

In Coming-of-Age, Sirei never gets a chance to reveal Shion's name to the students, so Shion asks the students to come up with a name for him. Tsubasa suggests the name "Fireboy", which he likes, and asks that the others call him FB for short. For the remainder of the Coming-of-Age route, he is known as FB.

In order to support FB's desire to be a real team member and experience normal life with the students, Tsubasa proposes the design for the baby jar, a portable life support system that would allow FB's real body to leave the school grounds. She works hard to design and construct the jar, something which makes FB extremely happy. The jar ultimately allows FB to accompany a group of the students on the beach training camp.

When Gaku holds a "boys' night" and asks the other boys which girl they have a crush on, FB struggles to understand what it means to have a crush, but ultimately decides he has a crush on Tsubasa. He says that she always makes him happy when she's around, and he likes her bright and cheerful personality.

Shoueva[]

Shoueva is the het ship between Shouma Ginzaki and Eva from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

Route 0[]

Even when Eva spoke a foreign language and was known as Squad Six Commander, Shouma immediately felt bad for her. He volunteered to take care of her in her cage from then on, though he spoke about her as if she were a pet rather than a person. Takumi noted that it seemed Shouma was really passionate about taking care of her. When Eva smiled at Shouma on Day 59, he was overjoyed. He repeated the story to everyone who entered the Cafeteria. On Day 64, he revealed that he told Eva she looked beautiful every day, and that morning, she repeated "beautiful" back to him.

While everyone treated Eva poorly, Shouma always tried his best to take care of her. He begged everyone to be nice to her and not do anything cruel. Multiple team members pointed out how Shouma had romantic feelings for her, but Shouma denied that he could feel romantic love. Still, he defended her in every situation he could, referred to her as "my dear prisoner", and admitted he developed an attachment to her.

On the way to find Eva via her transmitter, Shouma asked if he could talk things out with her first, even without words. When they arrived at the invader base, Shouma notably only truly mentioned and called for Eva, disregarding Ima. Once Eito "found" what he labeled as the prisoner's corpse, Shouma was clearly distraught at the loss unlike everyone else. He remembered how he felt sorry for her and told the others about how she might've been more like them than they thought. He'd wanted to communicate with her to find out what she wanted to live for.

Shoueva is a rarepair, as Shouma is a relatively unpopular character for shipping. As a ship for Eva, it is mainly rivaled by Takueva and Evanozo. The pair are often shipped as friends rather than lovers, as Shouma mentions multiple times that he feels either undeserving or incapable of feeling love and attraction.

In a Q&A post on Weibo, Kazutaka Kodaka mentioned that Eva does not feel romantic attraction towards Shouma, but feels grateful to him for his care and companionship.

Tsubasa was considerate of Shouma from the start. When Shouma mentioned his experience of being bullied at school, Tsubasa said it sounded like he had it rough. He told Tsubasa that looking at animals was therapeutic to him, so she suggested that Takumi catch a wild animal for him as a gift. When told that that wasn't an option, she offered to make him a drone that looked like an animal. She told him that he was so cool after he won his duel with Kurara.

Tsubasa became extremely excited when she saw Shouma's Class Weapon. She peppered him with questions about it even up to Day 48. She asked him to summon it out of battle so she could take a closer look, but Shouma said girls getting close to him would be hazardous to their health. Tsubasa reassured him that it couldn't be that bad. He also said it was amazing that Tsubasa knew how to drive as he couldn't even ride a bike.

From the beginning, Takemaru had a feeling that Tsubasa would eventually join the fight because he believed bike lovers like her weren't cowards. He said that he'd never met a girl who knew more about bikes than him before, and that she really knew her stuff. He also knew about Tsubasa's grandpa's workshop when she had only told Takumi about that on-screen, implying they'd had a conversation together separately.

When Tsubasa helped fight a battle for the first time, Takemaru complimented her Class Weapon. Tsubasa thanked him. When Shouma was trying to fight, Tsubasa suggested going to Takemaru for help because of his "tough guy" image. At some point, Takemaru asked Tsubasa to build him a motorcycle engine.

Route 0[]

When Kurara gave Shouma eight days to prepare to fight, Takemaru took Shouma's side and wanted to get him ready as soon as possible. He made Shouma hit him to prove that he had the ability to fight, but he passed out. A few days later, though, after Shouma was convinced to fight but still had his issue of an "allergy," Takemaru quickly offered up a suggestion on how to help. He said that Shouma just had to train his body and bulk up, which Takemaru would help with. Shouma agreed, excited at the opportunity, and thus started their determined "to-hell-and-back" training regimen.

Takemaru was unwaveringly motivating toward Shouma over the course of a few days. He nearly aggressively encouraged him to try harder and not to let anything hold him back. His motivating catchphrase, "no guts, no glory," was repeated loudly by Shouma day after day. The two chugged eggs, lifted weights, chanted battle cries, and holed themselves up in the Gym to prevent any distractions from their nonstop training. On Day 43, Takemaru banged on Takumi's door to confidently invite him to the gym to see Shouma's progress. He referred to him as "my boy Shouma" and told everyone to take a good look at him. Still, he primarily focused on the mental progress they'd made and told everyone that Shouma was tougher than he looked. He told Shouma that he knew he could do it when Kurara admitted defeat.

After Shouma first appeared in battle, Takemaru said his Class Weapon might've been the coolest one yet. He also made sure Shouma was the one to choose the other team's punishment.

When the team first woke up together, Takemaru introduced himself by warning Takumi to stay away from him as to avoid getting hurt when he entered his fits of rage. However, he immediately followed it up with concern for children and old people, leading Takumi to hesitantly think that he was a good guy and possibly misunderstood.

After Darumi was killed during their first fight, Takemaru gave Takumi advice on not to let the situation get to him. Though Takumi didn't like it, he took the advice. On Day 6, Takumi offered to search for the missing Eito himself. Takemaru trusted his talent for finding people, but said he wouldn't let him go without him. Takemaru said Takumi sure knew how to make an entrance when he returned from having gone missing.

When Takemaru got stabbed, Takumi along with a few others spent the whole day tending to Takemaru and making him rest when he stubbornly tried to resist help.

Free Time[]

During a Student Activity in the Entrance Hall, Takemaru invited Takumi to take a ride with him, which Takumi thought sounded fun. Takemaru joked about him having to run alongside his bike before relenting and saying Takumi could ride behind him as long as he was careful not to fall off. Afterward, the two enjoyed a ride.

Takugaku[]

Takugaku is the slash ship between Takumi Sumino and Gaku Maruko from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

Route 0[]

Gaku didn't make a very good first impression. When Takumi asked if he was okay, Gaku immediately lashed out about the obvious question and focused on his own luck. Takumi tried to comfort him and tell him he wasn't alone, but Gaku said he didn't care about anyone there. However, when Takumi tried to leave, Gaku stopped him and said he couldn't just abandon him. Gaku also tried to stop him when he left to join the fighters. When Takumi gave his reasoning, Gaku pointed out his positive attitude. On Day 2, Takumi spoke to Gaku in the hallway. They spoke about their financial situations, and when Takumi asked about Gaku supporting his family all on his own, Gaku said that Takumi should feel bad for him and repeatedly asked for reassurance that it was unfair.

When thinking of who to persuade next to fight, Takumi chose Gaku not only because he thought he could get him on board, but also because he didn't seem like a bad guy. Upon learning about Gaku's past, he told him he was sorry and got to thinking about what to gift him as an incentive for him to open up. Takumi put serious thought and effort into finding the right gift for Gaku, asking many of his teammates and making sure to give him something that he could work with himself rather than a premade garment that might not fit his tastes. He gathered the materials to craft a sewing kit that Gaku really appreciated. Takumi was happy to see his positive reaction. In the end, he successfully persuaded Gaku to fight. Gaku thanked him and called him a real decent guy, adding that he felt better now.

Comedy[]

In one of the Meat choice branches, Takumi notices Tsubasa and Nozomi talking on one of the benches outside the school, and as he's about to go and talk to Tsubasa, Gaku abruptly grabs him by the collar and stops him in his tracks. When Takumi asks , Gaku chides Takumi for wanting to enter the "holy garden" and interrupting a yuri moment between two girls. Takumi wonders out loud if Gaku was "always like this." Gaku, unconvinced that Takumi fully understands it all, drags Takumi into his room and proceeds to lecture him about the history and wonders of yuri for 10 days.

In the Fish choice branch, where Takumi decides to believe the chain letter, he proceeds to forward all five copies of it to Gaku.

Coming of Age[]

When several of the students abandon the academy after Eito tricks them into thinking that Takumi is a traitor, Gaku is one of the few students, and the only male student, who end up trusting Takumi and staying behind with him.

If Takumi decides to side with Gaku instead of Hiruko, the two team up and decide to start conducting rituals to exorcise all the evil spirits (and coincidentally, affect the G'ie as well). While on the lookout for the materials needed for the ritual, they end up finding a small lake where they proceed to fool around for a bit and splash water at each other. They eventually stop and blush eat each other. Eventually, they conduct the ritual multiple times, three days each time, weirding everyone out.

On the final day, as everyone is about to head to the escape pod, Takumi finds that none of SDU members want to associate with him anymore. However, he is cheered on by Gaku, and the two swear to keep working together after they've arrived "back home."

According to Kodaka's Weibo Q&A, after they got back to the Artificial Satellite, the two ended up becoming roommates.

Route 0[]

When Takumi went to leave and join the fighters, he was questioned and had to explain that he was fighting to keep his promise to his childhood best friend. Ima called him "quite the dashing hero" for his reasoning. Takumi told him not to give him too much credit. When Takumi went to look for Eito on Day 6, Ima told him to give it his all.

When Ima was captured on Day 66, Takumi reminisced by thinking that Ima wasn't the most pleasant guy, but was still one of them. No matter what it took, he was going to save him. He hoped and prayed for his rescue.

2nd Scenario[]

On Day 21, Ima went to Takumi for help with his troubles with his sister. When Takumi offered to have a talk with her, he cheered up immediately and thanked him, calling him a fearless leader with capable hands. However, he said he would've stabbed Takumi if he didn't help.

Mystery[]

After a battle, the team, including Takumi, split up to search for the missing Ima. Takumi was the one to find him locked in a cage. He asked if he was alright and freed him with his sword, but there was a bomb next to the cage. In just a moment, he had grabbed Ima and used his own body to shield him from the blast. He repressed his pain to ask Ima if he was okay. When Ima returned the question, Takumi told him not to worry, because "as long as you're fine..." He then passed out.

  • The name "Takumi Lovers Club" is a name Kyoshika came up with during the Day 100 ending.

Takumoko[]

Takumoko is the het ship between Takumi Sumino and Moko Mojiro from The Hundred Line fandom.

Canon[]

Romance Route[]

In the Romance Route, Kurara, Kyoshika, and Tsubasa competed for Takumi's affection in a game set up by Moko. Though Moko wasn't one of the options to spend 25 days with, she told Takumi that if the other three rejected him, he could go see her instead. After rejecting all three girls, Moko consoled Takumi about his inability to find love. She comforted him on the couch with his head in her lap. She even muses about the possibility that in some world, Takumi may have chosen her, instead.

Coming of Age[]

After Takumi apologized for making everyone worry on day 64, Moko told him that nobody liked a man who was so considerate all the time and that ladies loved a bit of assertiveness. Takumi listened and gave a short speech about fighting for everyone. During Free Time afterward, Moko asked him to debut with her as a wrestling tag team, saying that he'd be popular with his babyface and she'd handle the production.

Free Time[]

During a Free Time interaction, Moko asked Takumi if her swimsuit was cute. When Takumi said it looked like her normal costume, Moko called herself a delicate maiden who "might die of sadness if you don't tell her she's cute", leading Takumi to say: "Moko! You've never looked cuter! That swimsuit makes you look like a swan on the shore!" Though Moko didn't necessarily approve of flattery, she thanked him anyway.

Moments[]

Coming of Age
  • When everyone passed out at the training camp, Moko brought each of them to their respective rooms, including Takumi.

Quotes[]

Moko“We never did find out where that creep who attacked Nozomi-chan went... Next time something like that happens, just scream for me real loud, okay? I'll come runnin' and give 'em a taste of my atomic corkscrew elbow drop!”
Takumi“Ahaha... Thanks, Mojiro. Always good to know we can count on you.”

V'ehxness Route[]

After Tsubasa fails to detonate the Undying Flame Bomb, V'ehxness destroys Sirei, invades Last Defense Academy, and takes all the students prisoner. She takes a special interest in Takumi, keeping him chained up in the Leisure Lounge rather than his room, and personally attending to him.

The two have extensive conversations where they detail their motivations and personal philosophies to each other, mostly in order to satiate V'ehxness's curiosity. She becomes increasingly interested in Takumi, finding his defiance of her fascinating, and she remarks that she wants to "own" him. After several days of captivity, V'ehxness tries to break Takumi's resolve by bringing a luxurious bed into the Leisure Lounge and offering to let Takumi sleep on it, though he ultimately refuses. She also swims nude in front of him, trying to tempt him into obeying her, though he resists her control this time as well.

Through their conversations, Takumi comes to understand why V'ehxness is the way she is, though he never agrees with her outlook. In ending 043, he tries to assassinate V'ehxness but fails. In retaliation, V'ehxness kills all the other students and every commander, forcing Takumi to absorb all their cryptoglobin. She then engages him in single combat. The two battle for six straight days, four days of combat and two days of rest, until Takumi is eventually defeated. V'ehxness remarks that she had never felt so alive as she did during her battle with Takumi, though she laments that she is now alone.

In ending 044, Takumi refuses to assassinate V'ehxness, even when she is seriously wounded, believing that she can be convinced to make peace with them instead. While he protects V'ehxness from the rest of the SDU, Tsubasa stabs both of them with her infuser, fatally wounding them both. Rather than allow them to be absorbed, V'ehxness grabs Takumi and flees deep into the forest. Both of them eventually bleed to death, hand in hand, as V'ehxness remarks that she was glad to have known Takumi.

The ship sailed due to the interactions the two have in the V'ehxness route. V'ehxness's interest in Takumi can easily be interpreted as romantic or sexual, especially the bed and swimming scenes, and their enemies to lovers dynamic has been well received. Although the ship is not especially common, it's fairly popular for a rarepair, especially considering how little direct interaction the two have overall.

Route 0[]

When Gaku got angry at Kurara for wanting to fight Shouma, Yugamu pointed out his heavy breathing and fiery look in his eyes. He said it made him want to join in on the fight.

On Day 44, when Gaku was shaken up by the morning battle and Kurara's going back to her old persona, Yugamu said, "Heehee... I could sit and watch you work yourself up all day."

When Second-to-Last Defense Academy brought food back on Day 29 and Gaku expressed his relief at getting to eat again, Yugamu giggled and said he was glad he could help, then asked if he wanted a torture/"massage" session to follow.

Slasher[]

Kyoshika, Yugamu and Gaku decide to watch AVs together in the Rec Room during the Killer branch of the route. Takumi initially mistakes them watching adult videos before they clarify that they were watching animal videos. As more people start coming to the Rec Room and things get more chaotic, Yugamu suddenly goes silent before grabbing Gaku by his hair and pulling a knife on him. Takumi yells and stops things from escalating further, and Yugamu, with a smile, releases the scared Gaku and says he was testing something. It is eventually revealed that it was intrusive thoughts, his murderous impulses, that caused him to do it.

Fanon[]

Yugaku is a fairly popular ship in the fandom and one of both Yugamu and Gaku's most popular ships. The ship gained the interest of many pre-release, due to their scene from the Slasher Route which was previewed on Twitter, which led to it becoming a very popular ship in the Eastern fandom. After the game's release, many were disappointed over them not having a lot of proper interactions together in the game, which led to the ship somewhat declining in popularity for a time, although as of late it has started becoming more popular again. It is mainly rivaled by Yugamu and Gaku's respective ships with Takumi, as well as Yugashika and Gakurara, mainly on the Eastern side of the fandom.

Yugaku currently has 40+ works written on AO3.
