Thundercat is the femslash ship between Nora Valkyrie and Blake Belladonna from the RWBY fandom.
Canon[]
Nora and Blake first met in volume 1 of Rwby. Their respective teams would often hang out together alot and they did fight against each other in the foodfight in volume 2. In volume 3, they cheered each other on during the vytal festival tournament. They then both participated in the battle of Beacon together. When Blake rejoins everyone in volume 5 Nora is seen smiling happily in the background.
In volume 6, chapter 8 the two are seen sitting next to each other on a couch. When Blake responds to Jaune's comment about how everything they've done til now was for nothing Nora angrily responds "Really? cause it sure sounds like it". They are then both shocked when Jaune attacks Oscar in a fit of rage. In the next episode they are seen standing next to each other and are seen smiling when it was revealed that Oscar was found and ok. They then try to take down a leviathan together near the end of volume 6.
In volume 8, Nora decides to go with Blake and the rest of team rwby to get the amity communication tower up. In chapter 3, Nora confides to both Blake and Weiss that she doesn't know who she is without Ren. Blake then tells her that when your by someone's side for so long they become apart of you, but only a 'part' of you and not to forget about the rest. In the next episode when Nora is knocked out after using her semblance too much, Blake is seen carrying her unconscious body into the Schnee Manor. Blake is then in a later episode shown standing worriedly next to Nora's unconscious body in bed.
Fanon[]
Thundercat is a rarepair in the rwby fandom. Mostly because the two never spoke to each other until recently. People who do ship it like the whole opposites attract element. It also might remind some people of BlackSun, Bumbleby and ReNora. It has a small fanbase on tumblr.
