Tighber is the het ship between Tighnari and Amber from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Tighnari and Amber are both very aware of each other's existence, thanks to Collei. Tighnari in his time of being Collei's mentor has heard about Amber and received letters from said woman, as seen in Collei's birthday art where Tighnari reads Amber's birthday letter aloud to her. Amber herself claims to have heard many acceptable things about Tighnari from Collei, as well. The two have mutual respect for each other and are on friendly terms. They finally get to directly meet in the Windblume Festival.
Amber and Eula walk in on the campfire holding Cyno, Tighnari, Paimon, the Traveler, Collei, Albedo, and Sucrose. Tighnari is the first to speak up to her, mentioning how he's heard many things about her form Collei. Amber hopes they were words of goodwill. Despite the two getting along fairly well, they still have their notable differences. Amber is energetic, cheerful, and loud, whereas Tighnari is more reserved, serious, and stoic.
It's likely that Tighnari has grown accustomed to this personality because of Collei, who's character is mostly rubbed off of Amber's.
Fanon[]
Tighber is an extreme rarepair that's barely recognized as romantic over platonic. This is caused by their low interactions and overall relationship. However, they are seen in a plethora of fanarts together, mainly paired with Collei, Cyno, or both. Some fans like to refer to them as Collei's parental figures. It elucidates the amounts of fanart of them being paired with their younger companion.
Shippers notice how similarly tied Collei's caregivers are. For example, both Tighnari and Amber (including Cyno) have animalistic features that resemble large-eared creatures (Amber's bow referencing to rabbits and Tighnari being the descendant of Tighnarians, whom are based off the Fennec Fox). It could be a small factor that lead to fans comparing the two and going as deep to headcanon them as the adoptive father and mother to Collei. The ship is rivaled and easily overshadowed by popular ships such as Cynonari and EulAmber.
