Tighlou is the het ship between Tighnari and Nilou from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Tighnari and Nilou don't seem to directly interact, even during the events of Chromatic Ode of Candies and Rosies, also known as Nahida's birthday event and the rare phenomena of the two forging together. During this particular celebration, Nilou and Tighnari join each other in proposing a successful birthday surprise for their beloved Archon. On the danger of being debunked, Nilou saves Tighnari and other's skin by successfully swerving Nahida's attention. Once they carry out their plan successfully, she and him propose a toast with their friends. Despite their mute relationship, Nilou does openly acknowledge him in her voice lines (the same can't be said for him).
Said voice line explains she's heard bits of information regarding him through ambiguous sources. Facts include his position as the prestigious Forest Watcher of the Avidiya Forest. She adds her awareness of his remarkable fungi knowledge allowing him to discern poisonous mushrooms from edible ones. She ponders on this, and expresses her envy for it. Nilou is additionally familiar with his student and Forest Ranger trainee, Collei.
She mentions how said trainee warned her about getting lost in the forest, much to her confusion since she self-proclaims having a sense of direction. Collei's ominous heads-up could be hinting towards Tighnari, who gets easily aggravated with adventurers/scholars getting themselves into trouble (trouble often meaning consuming dangerous mushrooms), ultimately resorting to lecturing them if he sees fit.

The Tighlou ship is a well-received and decent rarepair with a dedicated fanbase. In contrast of an intimate correlation, they're either favored as calm comrades or romantic rivals for Cyno. They've earned their own tag on Tumblr, posts on Hoyoverse, and a few romantic works on AO3. The ship is most likely inspired from Cylou, the ship between Nilou and Tighnari's best friend, Cyno. Tighlou shippers collectively enjoy the Opposites Attract trope the two share, which became the subtrope of Red Oni, Blue Oni whereas Tighnari is the blue to Nilou's red Oni.
Fanarts of the two commonly depict an amusing dynamic with Nilou being the gentle, bubbly, and imaginative woman to Tighnari's stoic, more reserved temperamental man. It contributes to the Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl interrelation that receives positive attention from most. In respect of Cylou, Cynonari, and Tighlou, they possess their own polyamorous pairing including Cyno.
