Tighven is the slash ship between Venti and Tighnari from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Since the two are forcefully separated by two separate regions, they don't receive the chance to meet. However, Tighnari on one occasion did visit Mondstadt where Venti remains. Nonetheless they haven't made contact with each other. Venti is one of the grand Archons, particularly the Anemo Archon. His godly status is what provokes the Divine Couple trope into his non-existent relationship with Tighnari.
Along with this, Venti is far older than the young Forest Watcher by immortal standards, thus bringing forth the Age-Gap Romance or May-December Romance trope. Both men are considerably different in personality in many aspects. Venti is a more robust and louder individual that clashes against Tighnari's strict and more isolated one. Venti notably has a childish side to him that greatly conflicts Tighnari's maturity. This births the Opposites Attract trope into their fanon relationship.
Their common similarity is their loyalty to the ones they deeply care for and kindness. Their encounters with the Traveler and such brings light to this positive side to their characters. Sometimes they both can come off as snarky to those who irritate them. A more comedic differentiating factor between them is Venti's visible lack of responsibility when it comes to addictions, such as wine. Though Tighnari is never seen with a form of an addiction tied to him, it's arguable that he's much more level-headed and controlled with his pleasures in comparison to the Anemo Archon.
This can provoke the Uptight Loves Wild trope. Albeit Venti doesn't apply to the more crazier side that the trope implies.
Fanon[]
The Tighven ship is an extremely rare but acknowledged rarepair within the fandom. Fans of the famous "Sun x Moon" trope may come to enjoy the ship for many reasons. A handful of content featuring their ship, whether romantic or not, can be found scattered across social media apps such as TikTok and Twitter/X.

- Both characters have very similar character animations when bearing their weapons. Even their elemental specials are similar (e.g massive glowing arrow, identical aiming stance, etc).
