Tinker Jane is the femslash ship between Jane and Tinker Bell from the Peter Pan fandom.
Canon[]
Jane grew up hearing stories about the inhabitants of Never Land from her mother, who knew Tinker Bell. However, as she grew up Jane stopped believing the stories to be true or that fairies actually exist. Despite being brought to Never Land and meeting Tinker Bell and Peter Pan, after she was mistaken for Wendy, Jane refuses to want anything to do with them. Like with Wendy before her, Tinker Bell wasn't very fond of Jane or the way she treated her allies. She was pleased to learn that Jane wanted to return home as soon as possible, but as they try to help Jane learn how to fly like the rest of them, her lack of happiness and fantasy causes Jane to sneeze from Tink's pixie dust.
Frustrated by this and with an angry Tinker Bell getting in Jane's face, she tells her that she doesn't believe in fairies. Unaware that those very words have the power to kill a fairy, either at the fairy in particular or when one happens to be close by when those words are spoken. With Tink slowly dying from Jane's words, Peter and the lost boys seek to make her believe in fairies so they can save their pixie friend. Because Jane had took off in anger after she said those words, Tink was left on her own in the hideout as she sees her glow slowly dim out.
After Jane was tricked into helping Captain Hook and his crew capture Peter and the Lost Boys, she rushes back to the hideout to seek Tink's help in rescuing them. She discovers Tink, whose light has completely gone out, and begins to cry. She carefully lifts Tink out of her tree hollow and places her on a pillow, before apologizing and breaking down into sobs. Jane's tears prove that she does, in fact, believe in fairies, and this is enough to return Tinker Bell's light. She awakens, and smiles fondly at Jane. Tink then tugs at Jane's hair to get her attention. She is shocked to see that Tinker Bell is all right, and Tink playfully nuzzles her nose against Jane's as a form of thanks.
Together they head to the Jolly Roger to save Peter Pan and the rest of the Lost Boys.
Fanon[]
Although fans weren't thrilled with how Jane nearly killed Tink, some were pleased that they were able to become friends in the end along with Jane saving Tinker Bell before it was too late.
There are currently no works on AO3 for this pairing, either as a romantic ship or as a friendship. This is likely due to the fact that Jane only appears in the sequel to the Disney film, and is otherwise not considered a canon character by some. The relationship between Tinker Bell and Jane's mother, Wendy, is much more well known and well liked.
